Spectrum and Nine went back to the Unified Grim to have some peace and quiet. Later, while Nine was studying new methods of inter-dimensional travel without relying the Paradox Prism on the abandoned but new lab they found on the Grim Underdephts. Spectrum however has other plans at the moment, but Nine realized immediatly what Spectrum really wanted.
Nine: You really miss Thorn Rose because you have more than just a crush on her, don't you? - asked with a grin.
Spectrum: *blushes* N-no... uh, maybe just a little. Damn you, Nine! - he recoiled with embarrassment.
Nine: *chuckled a little* Come on! You're so obvious when you show such a sheepish grin in your face. You went to the Boscage Maze through the teleporter so much lately without my permission, except for the first time! - said Nine almost nonchalant about the situation due to his jaded nature.
Spectrum: Are you insinuating that my problems doesn't matter at all to guys like you? - he was both sad and angry or couldn't actually think straight, since Nine pressured Spectrum all of the sudden with a reddened face.
Spectrum still had the one thing that he didn't gain or earned since he was still heartbroken, both as a human and a hedgehog: the sensation of caring someone with a very deep love on his starving heart! Because of this... Spectrum wasn't entirelly whole or complete.
Nine: *growls* OKAY, FINE! I will help you. But I warn you that I WILL NOT GOING TO BE your matchmaker, is that clear? - Nine gave Spectrum a menacing leer, showing his growling anger on his closed mouth full of his sharp teeth of distrust and rage.
Spectrum: OH THANK YOU, NINE! Uh... *scoffs*
Nine: *chuckled with a glare* So to make things easier for you, I will try to ask Amy from Green Hill for such advice. Actually, scratch that... *press a button on his own Ring Portal teleporter device, made with Prism Energy as a power source* I already told her!
Spectrum: She's going to bring Sonic by force, isn't she? Why I'm not surprised? But you will going to explain to those two about the situation, since you're so smart! - Spectrum said in a nonchalant tone about such a double date situation.
Nine: *snarls* WHY YOU PIECE OF SHIT...!
Spectrum: COME AGAIN, LITTLE BITCH!? *growls*
Those two always released some pent-up anger when they became best friends by staring and growling with a lot of cursing, just to blow some steam. However, they always ended up with such laughter due to their panicking states on their faces!
Right on that moment, Sonic and Amy Rose arrived through the Ring Portal.
Sonic: Hey! Watch your foul temper tantrum! Don't you think it's a bit too much? - warned Sonic.
Spectrum/Nine: *sighs* Yeah! - said the both of them in agreement.
Amy: This is a great opportunity for a double date! Right, my dear Sonic?
Sonic: *sighs with disapproval* This girl is like a pink chewing gum that is always stuck up on my shoes EVERYTIME I RUN FROM HER! - thought Sonic with some annoyance, since Amy hugged him.
Nine: Let's get this over with!
The four of them jumped over the Ring Portal, already with the destination and coordinates set.
