Nine and everyone from Green Hill, except a sleeping Big, woke in a empty room full of back and white clouds, inside of a pocket dimension that Shattered Spectrum created! All of them were confused for such a place of nothingness. But why Shadow or Silver wasn't there for such an imminent danger?
Sonic: What the...? Where am I?
Rouge: You mean all of us!
Tails: Why we're such a place?! This place must be in between what's real and fabricated!
Eggman: You're right, Tails! I don't like this one bit.
Amy: Even you were dragged here, Eggman?
Knuckles: Someone's approaching and I sense wickedness on that presence! I'm going to punch him very hard on his face.
Nine: DON'T INSULT HIM, PLEASE! THAT HEDGEHOG WILL KILL US BECAUSE OF THAT!!! - Nine was panting with fear while frozen in despair.
Knuckles: Why...?
Shattered Spectrum appeared right in front of Knuckles and he blew him away with a powerful shockwave.
Shattered Spectrum: GGRRREEEHHH!!!
Knuckles: *yells with pain, landing on the floor by being pushed away*
Sonic: Knuckles!
Shattered Spectrum: Oh, don't worry! I'm not interested on those like him at the moment. But if he or any of you insults me again with such remarks again I will destroy you and more than just the Master Emerald, because it's the only thing with the power of infinity, slow and painful of course! - he looked at Sonic, Knuckles, Eggman, Tails and Nine with intimidating eyes full of dread.
Eggman: EGAD!
Tails: Who or what are...?
But his question was cut off when Shattered Spectrum looked at Tails with great resentment by pull him towards him and grabbed his neck tight!
Tails: *choking with great pain*
Shattered Spectrum: I'M NOT A "WHAT", TAILS! THE WAY YOU'RE FEELING SUCH PAIN IS BECAUSE I'M REAL AS THE REST OF YOU!!!
Sonic and the others tried to save Tails, but as soon as they get close they were frozen by Shattered Spectrum's dreadful chaotic aura! But Shattered Spectrum released Tails out of pity.
Shattered Spectrum: *scoffs* It's because of you morons that we ended in a world filled with chaos! And in order to get my freedom from the Void I need to add it to my powers, making me the Spectrum that wasn't full but way more vengeful than before! Just like this room of mine, because it's INCOMPLETE, SHALLOW AND EMPTY! - Shattered Spectrum yelled with utter contempt and jealously against everyone, especially Sonic and Tails.
Sonic: Like the Grim?
Nine: SONIC! - Nine angrily yelled.
Shattered Spectrum: You're really going off track right now! In a manner of speaking, I stayed most of my time inside this space while staying and surviving on Earth. However, I must thank you Sonic. You created a space-time rift to return back to the world I want to belong... or so I thought! Unfortunally like always, friends and enemies only exist to betray each other, so this chaotic world of yours must be destroyed utterly so that a ordained one shall be built from the ashes... at the cost of worthy sacrifices. It's all for everyone's eternal happiness!
Tails: *catching his breath after being choked off on his throat* So is by your own rules of destruction or pure suffering?! You're even worse than Eggman!
