With Eggman out of the picture, the group returned to Nine's lab and home in the center of the Grim. But for some reason the reality was not decaying, unless it could occur suddenly. Or the Green Hill was already shattered into Ghost Hill. They don't because the universe itself has it's own set of cycles!
Shadow: I'm having a bad vibe somehow, Sonic! - said Shadow.
Sonic: Yeah! You and me both. - responded back to Shadow.
Tails: Time is of the essence. We need to go back home, guys! - said Tails, with haste.
Nine: T-tails is right! We still n-need... to fix everything. - said Nine, looking at his hands shaking with fear. He was afraid that same sad departure of Sonic going back to Green Hill.
Spectrum: *thinking* I'm... sad? Why?! DON'T TELL ME... - just by looking at Nine, Spectrum felt that his heart was almost sinking into despair.
Spectrum: Nine? We need to prepare for the...
Nine: Reformation process? - Nine was even more afraid.
Spectrum: No... Transference process! - said Spectrum, ready for a new gamble of him own!
Nine/Tails: TRANSFERENCE PROCESS?!? - the two foxes yelles with disbelief.
Sonic: WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT? - yelled Sonic, with an hint of fear.
Shadow: Are you plotting something, or do you have an idea in mind to fix everything!? - suspected Shadow.
Spectrum: Sonic, do you still have some Prism Energy inside of you? - he urgently asks.
Sonic: I still feel a little tingle of the power of Paradox Prism... HEY, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING??? - Spectrum grabs Sonic and puts on the very same spot where Paradox Prism was sent back to Green Hill, along with him.
Spectrum: If Green Hill is still somehow intact, along with that egghead, there may be a possibility to send you three back there without the Shatterverse being decayed, thus fixing it in the process.
Nine: Oh, I get it! Shadow and Tails... get in position. - said Nine, without any other options left.
Spectrum: It was all thanks to you, Nine! That reformation process of yours which send the Prism back to it's original place in Green Hill to restore everything, allowed me to have another method without Sonic's sacrifice. However... - the red hedgehog said while shedding a tear full of sadness to his friends from Green Hill, full of a sensation of bid a bittersweet farewell.
Sonic: What? - asked Sonic.
Spectrum: *crying* I must say that... I will stay here in the Grim with Nine to protect him and viceversa, my friends! - Spectrum tell the three of them the somber news.
Nine: *crying* M-me too, but it's for the best! After all, Spectrum got endowed Prism Energy to send you back. He will not shatter because he has now a new existence of his own that belongs here on the Grim and New Yoke City! - Nine explained.
Tails: Two versions of the same being cannot exist in the same space and time, not at this moment, so we need to hurry! - said Tails.
Nine checked on his computer, if Green Hill WAS STILL IN ONE PIECE!
Nine: Shit! Soon, the Green Hill will starting to shatter back into Ghost Hill again if we don't send you back.
