[Spectrum's nightmare... and flashback when he was out cold]
Nine: Gggghhhh... *yells with overwhelming rage, while he was crying from the inside* SILENCE, EGGMAN! HE DID THIS TO PROTECT OUR NEW HOME... OUR HAPPINESS! AT THE SAME TIME HE PREVENTED THE SHATTERVERSE FROM BEING DESTROYED. YOU WILL NEVER TAKE THAT FROM US, NOT NOW... NOT EVER!!!
Eggman: WHO DO YOU THINK YOU'RE TO MAKE DEMANDS OR GIVING SPEECHES AT ME?!? I'LL SHOW TO ALL OF YOU WHAT TRUE DESPAIR IS!!
Eggman: PREPARE TO BE ANNIHILATED, RODENTS!!! STARTING WITH YOU, NINE-TAILED FREAK! *evil laughter*
Spectrum: *shivering with fear* NO... DON'T DO IT, EGGMAN!
Nine: *yells with pain* GGUUUUAAAAAHHHH!!!
Sonic/Shadow/Tails: NINE!!!
Spectrum: Nine...! - he quivered with fear and anguish.
Nine: S-sorry, Spectrum... Sonic... Tails... and even you Shadow! I failed all of you! I c-couldn't repay you for all y-your... help and kindness. You... and your friends as well!
Tails: *snarls* You will pay for this, you fiend!
Eggman: Well well well... TWO FOXES FOR THE PRICE OF ONE! I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS, SONIC, BECAUSE THIS... IS WHAT YOUR DESPAIR LOOKS LIKE!!!
[Spectrum woke up with sudden anxiety]
Spectrum: NO MORE! *screaming with panic and despair*
Nine: JESUS, YOU SCARED ME! You finally opened your eyes! But... oh... you had a nightmare? - Nine, while walking towards him with his mechanical tails was concerned.
Spectrum: *yawns by waking up, while trembling* Oh man, am I in Heaven? Please don't tell me that I died! - said a groggy Spectrum, while faking that he had a nightmare.
Nine: *smirked* Do you want to be in Hell, instead? Let me wake you up properly! - mocked Nine, while pinching Spectrum on his cheeks.
Spectrum: OOUUUAAAACCHHHH!!! OK OK! I'M WAKE! *groans in great pain* AACKK, MY BODY!!! - he yelled with pain, by both Nine's pinching and his own injuries on his ribcage, head and back, covered with bandages stained with some blood.
Nine: Take it easy! Do you want some coffee? - Nine asked by giving a mug of coffee that he made.
Spectrum: *groans with pain* Better than chili dogs at morning, I supposed? Of course, I want! *scoffed* I started to drink coffee almost more than 15 years ago. Better than drinking tea like old people! - said Spectrum with a grin.
Nine: *snickered*
After they drank their coffee, it was the time to start their new life, by talking each other... and more:
Nine: You're still feeling the pain and strain from the prismatic energy that you used to send Sonic, Tails and Shadow back to Green Hill along with the Paradox Prism. It really was a miracle that you survived! *his hands were trembling when he tries to reach him utmost care* And I did...
Spectrum: You did what? - the red hedgehog was puzzled by Nine's question.
Nine: Your Earth... is gone... forever! There was no other way. - Nine said the sad news to him.
