I couldn't believe it. Sophomore year, and I'm out in the ocean. I could study killer whales and dolphins better. Mother walked me up onto the ship with me, having Brian and Rain on those kids' leashes.

"Oh, my baby girl's going to a new school," she wept. My eyes watered.

"Mom, don't worry, we can call each other after school and we can Skype over the weekend," I said to her, sweetly. Mom smiled at me. "Okay, my sweetie. Sounds like the perfect plan."

The lobby manager came around, smiling. "Hello, I'm Mr. Moseby. Welcome to the S.S. Tipton," he greeted.

"Hi, I'm Esme Stark and this is my mother," I gestured to my mother. Mother was trying to reign in Brian and Rain. Of course, both children were trying to run in opposite directions, almost ripping my mother's arms off. She grunted loudly before pulling the twins towards her. She looked over at Mr. Moseby, "Oh, hello. I'm Mrs. Stark. It's a pleasure to meet you." Mr. Moseby had a look of worry when he saw the twins, but still looked calm, "Nice to meet you too. It's nice to have a new student here and there." I smiled, already feeling at home. I couldn't believe that I was going to be essentially living here.

"20 minutes until the boat leaves docks," an over voice said through the speakers.

Mother sighed. I couldn't tell if it was because of the twins, or because she knew she'd have to leave soon. "It'll take 20 minutes just to get the twins off the boat," I laughed and hugged Mom. "I'll miss you, Mommy," I cried.

Mom hugged me back. "Okay, sweetie. You be good, make some friends, and pay attention in school." I smiled and softly chuckled at the last part, "Love you, Mom." She dragged the twins away. "Love you, too, Esme!"

Mr. Moseby came up behind me with a smile on his face. "Now, how about we get you to your new room?" I nodded with a smile before Mr. Moseby showed me to my room. "Since we have an odd number, you get your own room." He put the key in the lock and opened the door. I walked in and put my bags and luggage off to the side. "Thank you. Now, will I be going to school now or do I have the day off and go tomorrow?" I wondered.

Mr. Moseby thought for a minute. "You can go tomorrow." I smiled before nodding, "Thank you, Mr. Moseby. Um... here." I kindly handed him 15 dollars; Mom taught me to be kind, so that's what I thought would be the best thing to do.

"Oh thank you, Ms. Esme. You didn't have to do that," He said with a kind smile across his face. "I figured I would do that as another way of saying thank you," I explained.

I smiled as he closed my door. He'd given me a key before we walked to my room. I changed into a cute outfit. It was a bit more relaxed and free forming since it was really hot out.

I had a feeling that the school day ended. There were kids my age. I went to the smoothie bar and sat down.

"Hi, what would ya like?" A fairly tall, male worker asked as he handed me a menu.

I smiled at him before looking through the menu. The green mint tea smoothie looked good. "I'll have a green mint tea," I looked up, smiling.

He took the menu and smiled, "You look new. You here for a vacation? Or are ya here for schooling?" The blonde looked about my age. "Schooling," I simply answered. He was making my smoothie, then looked at me. "I'm Zack Martin," He finished my smoothie.

"I'm Esme Stark." I introduced myself as I pushed a loose lock of hair behind my hair.

Zack laughed, "Like Howard Stark? As Iron Man's father?" I nodded and laughed. Two other people came to the smoothie bar as Zack handed me the smoothie.

"Who's this?" A blonde girl asked Zack while looking at me. The guy beside her looked just like Zack. Just geekier.

"This is Esme. She's our new classmate," Zack said.

I just waved. I'm usually very shy when I first meet people. That and I was in mid-sip of the smoothie.

The girl smiled and sat in front of me, "I'm Bailey." I smiled at her and set my cup to the side.

Zack cleared his throat, "The ugly-looking guy that looks like me is my twin brother, Cody." I tried holding my laughter, "I've grown up with twins for the past 6 years."

Bailey's face lit up. "Was the lady with twins on leashes, your mom?" I laughed and nodded, "Yes, the kids are my twin siblings, Brian and Rain." Bailey smiled and looked at Cody. Cody took a seat beside her.

"How many siblings do you have?" Cody asked.

"I have 3. The twins and an older brother," I said as I took another sip of my smoothie.

Zack shook his head. "I'd lose my mind. I already want to kill Cody sometimes." I softly chuckled, understanding the feeling.

"Is school here like normal school?" I asked.

Cody nodded. "It's like it, but we do more activities rather than actual work."

I nodded and gave a slight sigh of relief, "Sounds like fun. Better than sitting for 7 hours doing absolutely nothing." Bailey laughed. I can tell this year of school will be pretty good.
