"Hey, Es," Zack said with a quieter tone. I was reading my book, but Zack's behavior stopped me from continuing.

"Zack, what's wrong?" I asked as I put my bookmark in my book.

"I just talked to Cody," Zack said as he sat down on my bed.

"And?" I asked, trying to get him to continue. I was sitting straight at this point.

"Bailey and him broke up last night," Zack said, almost like he didn't believe the words coming out of his mouth.

My jaw dropped at the news. "Oh, my goodness. And on their 2-year anniversary? Wh-What happened?"

Zack sighed with a shrug, "I guess that they were fighting on their date. Bailey accused him of cheating the night before. Which, turned out to be Cody testing the date with London to make sure it was perfect. And, this is coming from Cody, while Cody was waiting for Bailey to come to their date, he found Bailey in the arms of another guy. When she finally got there, it went downhill. And then they broke up."

"Oh, my goodness. Is Cody okay?" I asked.

Zack rubbed his face with a deep sigh. I gently rubbed Zack's back, trying to ease any stress. "Cody's trying to play it cool, but Cody's never really been the guy to break up with somebody. It's always been the girl. Plus, I know Cody really loved Bailey. Like yeah, he liked Jessica and wrote poems about her when we were in middle school, but Cody's never acted like this for a girl before," Zack explained.

"You try to cheer your brother up and I'll go check on Bailey?" I suggested.

Zack nodded, "That's what I was thinking. I feel like Bailey's either really pissed, or she's crying her eyes out like Cody."

I nodded as I sat up in my bed. I kissed Zack's cheek. "It's really sweet that you're looking out for your brother like this. I know you guys have had a lot of difficulty with each other, but I'm extremely proud of how you're taking care of him," I said with a sweet smile.

Zack smiled at me. "Normally, I wouldn't be caring about my brother. But this is different," Zack said with a shrug.

I patted Zack's shoulder. "Come on, let's get going," I said. We got up from my bed and walked down the hall. I found London and Bailey's room. "Okay, this is me. Be nice to your brother, okay?" I said before kissing Zack's cheek.

"Message received, captain," Zack joked before he kissed me on the cheek and left.

I knocked on the door, "Bailey?"

"Come in," Bailey said.

I opened the door and saw Bailey on her bed. My heart dropped when I saw that her eyes were red and puffy. I hugged Bailey, knowing the pain she was going through. I think Bailey knew why I was hugging her cause she started wailing once again. I rubbed Bailey's back as I rocked her back and forth.

"You heard, too?" Bailey asked as she rubbed her eyes.

"I uhh. I didn't want to say it, but Zack told me after he found out from Cody," I said with a nod. I wasn't going to lie to her on how I found out, "What exactly happened?"

Bailey sighed. "London found me with a guy who was making my gift for Cody, Jean Luc. She told me about their practice date, and I felt like such an idiot for it. After that, I ran to meet up with Cody. I explained what I saw the day before. Cody got really mad at me because I was hugging Jean Luc. We started fighting about trust, and Cody," Bailey started to cry again, "Cody said that since I don't trust him, maybe we should break up. And I agreed!"

I hugged Bailey once again, trying to console her. "At least you and Cody broke up face to face," I pointed out, "It's not like there was anything like a letter or a text."

Bailey covered her mouth, looking at me shocked, "I forgot you and Justin broke up through video chat. I'm so sorry, Es."

"Bailey," I said while shaking my head, "I'm okay. I've healed from my breakup. Now I can try to help you with yours."

"How did you get through yours?" Bailey asked.

I hummed for a second, thinking about it. "Well, the first thing I did was take all the photos I had, and I cut him out of them. Like not just the face of him, but I cut him completely out of the photo. Why ruin a good photo if you can easily take him out of it?" I asked.

Bailey started to laugh as she listened to me. "Okay, that's a good point," Bailey said. She grabbed a box. "This is everything to do with him," Bailey explained.

"Okay, this a good start," I said as I grabbed some scissors before handing them to her, "And if you have copies of the same photos, you can always grab his face and put them on a dart board. Just aim for his face."

Bailey started laughing as she was cutting a photo. "I might actually do that," Bailey said. It was nice to hear Bailey laugh instead of crying.

Bailey and I spent the day together, trying to help her unwind.

"Hey, Es, I know you and Zack spend some nights together in your dorm, but I can't look at London tonight. I know she explained everything to me, but," Bailey started to say, but I understood where she was going with this.

"Bailey, you're more than welcome to spend the night with me. Grab a bag with some stuff. I have a huge movie collection, so we can watch funny movies, and have ice cream. I just gotta let Zack know, okay?" I explained.

"You're amazing, Esme. Thank you," She said.

I left Bailey's room and found Zack on the Sky Deck.

"Hey, beautiful," Zack said as he was cleaning out a cup, "How did it go with Bailey?"

"Well, that's what I came here about. Bailey's gonna spend the night in my dorm. She doesn't wanna be around London right now. So I didn't know if you wanted to try and get Cody out tonight, maybe a gaming night?" I suggested.

Zack nodded, taking in the information. "Okay, perfect. I'll see what I can get Cody to agree to. You and Bailey have fun tonight, okay? Be safe," Zack said as he kissed my cheek.

"We will," I said as I kissed Zack's cheek.

I walked back to my dorm and saw Bailey waiting for me. "Hey, Bailey. I hope I didn't keep you waiting long," I said as I unlocked my dorm room.

"Nah, not at all," Bailey said as we walked into my room. "I haven't been in your dorm since we were freshmen. Your room is so much nicer than mine," Bailey said as she sat her bag down on my desk chair.

"Yeah, it's what I try to do. If you don't wanna share a bed, I have an air mattress in my closet," I said, "Since I didn't have a roommate, I just pushed the two beds together."

"Yeah, the air mattress sounds good to me," Bailey said as she nodded.

I got into my closet and pulled out the air mattress and we started to pump up the bed. I reached into my mini fridge and grabbed 2 tubs of ice cream. Bailey was looking through my movie collection. "You weren't joking when you said that you had a major movie collection," Bailey said in awe.

"Oh, yeah, I take pride in that," I said as I handed her a tub and a spoon.

"Thanks, Esme. You really are an amazing friend, you know that?" Bailey said.
