Chapter 42. Aqua Lounge

"Guess who's back!"

I looked over, hearing that familiar voice. I excitedly ran over with open arms, "Bailey!"

Bailey and I hugged for a good minute, enjoying each other's company.

"Come on, sit with us. I'm sure you must be exhausted. London told us how you had to help your family," I said as Bailey and I went to sit at the Easy Squeezy.

"I did. It was kind of nice though, going back," Bailey said as she nodded to herself. "What have I missed?"

Zack, Cody, and Woody went on to talk about Woody's new bunion. Honestly, hearing about it was going to make me sick.

"Anything non-bunion-related?" Bailey asked, also disgusted by the subject.

"There's a new girl," I said with a slight shrug, "Her name is Maya."

"Yeah, and Esme scared her because Maya admitted that she thought I was cute," Zack said. I looked at Zack because I noticed the hint of bragging that was in his voice. Zack looked at me and noticed the expression on my face, "Which, if Maya would have said anything to me, I would have turned her down in a second because I have such a wonderful beautiful girlfriend."

I nodded at what Zack said, "Smart save there."

I was helping Bailey get adjusted back into her room. I looked really confused when Bailey came back with a planter, dirt, and seeds.

"Bailey?" I asked.

"Yeah, Es?" Bailey responded as she unloaded the dirt into the planter.

"You're really not gonna start a garden in here, are you?" I asked, "I mean, you share a room with London Tipton. The last person who enjoys having this kind of thing in their room."

"Would you rather have it in your room?" Bailey asked.

I grimaced, thinking about my flowers. "I actually don't have the room for a planter," I lied, "Shucks."

"Besides, this will be great. We can all eat healthier and gardening is supposed to be really relaxing. You should know that because you do flowers," Bailey said.

I nodded as I left, not wanting to get involved with Bailey. I smiled when I saw Zack with a funnel cake. I walked up to him and took a small piece. "I just love funnel cake," I said as I licked the powdered sugar off of my thumb.

"Right!? It's just so amazing," Zack agreed, "Why can't they make funnel cakes huge?"

"Who knows, maybe for your birthday, I'll make you a funnel cake cake?" I purposed.

Zack kissed me, "If you did that, I'd never leave your side."

"Zack, you already never leave my side," I said as I took another piece of funnel cake, "I can't wait for the Aqua Lounge to open up. Imagine the lovely sushi dates we'll have."

"Oooh," Zack hummed in happiness, "Sushi does sound amazing."

We were all hanging out on the Sky Deck - Woody, Cody, London, Bailey, Marcus, Zack, and me. Marcus was apparently trying to make a new "opera" but it was rap, and Zack somehow got convinced to film a demo. Actually, I lied, I know how Marcus convinced him. It was with funnel cake. I dunno. Not my kinda thing.
