Draco spent the remainder of the day mulling over this little "incident"

Draco spent the remainder of the day mulling over this little "incident". He knew his attention didn't deserve it, but his classes bored him and he couldn't think of something better to do? A crush! A crush?! Had she lost her mind. That demented rascal, who thought her looks excused everything. But Draco couldn't stay offended for long. That girl made him smirk. She had a nerve.

Draco absent-mindedly drew on his notebook, at the back of the 7th year Charms classroom. He had already studied all of this before, it was boring him to bits. He drew Twiggles, the sloppy cake... He tried drawing Harriet, but scribbled it out quickly with how bad it was. He then drew a Dream-gall, it was a nice exercise for depth, shadows and lights. But as he drew, his mind kept wandering to the twins. He was going mad, simply. Her words had triggered some kind of obsessive-compulsive need in him to check his feelings. Maybe he didn't know himself at all? Surely, she hadn't just said that to piss him off had she? The twins were nice but...

He tried imagining some scenarios, and quickly called them off with disgust. There was no need to mull things over... Next time he saw them, the confusion would clear off. Right? He was just losing his shit because he hadn't taken any meds.

At that thought, he quickly pried open his bag, and shakily grabbed a glass container filled with pills. He swallowed one dry. Severus had given the bottle to him after a nerve outburst. He didn't know if they really worked, but maybe if he believed it enough they would.

Since the beginning of the school year, Draco sweated unusual amounts. His hands, usually cold and stiff, were now always clammy and jittery. Sometimes, in the middle of a lesson, he would zone out, for a good five to thirty minutes. It was as if time stopped, he had no idea where his mind went, if not to that purgatory white space that he saw sometimes in his nightmares. Often, he couldn't even hear people's calls.

The flamboyant orange shop was buzzling with afternoon mania

The flamboyant orange shop was buzzling with afternoon mania. Children were whizzing left and right, a hand on their parents' cloak, tugging them to "Come see! Come see!" excitement melting off their wide eyes, drooling. The rainbow animation of the shop left everyone dazed with sparkling joy. Fred and George ate it up every time, never getting tired of watching children poof up like baloons and fly up to the ceiling, or an Amortentia incident engendering a marriage proposal right in the heart of the shop. Even when it was closed, the shop seemed busy, piles upon piles of candy and prank gadgets. Lee Jordan, the twin's faithful friend had come to help this afternoon, as he did half of his days. The other half, we was busy going around local and national Quidditch matches, as a commentator and journalist. It had been his passion since little, and the three friends had happily witnessed all of them bloom to fruition. One of them included of course, still being friends (and alive!) after Hogwarts.
