Strange times (Soukoku?)

This is basically just a recap, except diary style (and Dazai's POV)

January 2nd, 2024

̶D̶e̶a̶r̶ ̶d̶i̶a̶r̶y̶  ̶h̶e̶l̶l̶o̶ ̶I̶t̶s̶ ̶m̶e̶,̶ ̶D̶a̶z̶a̶i̶  Screw it. I'm going to be writing in this journal around once a month, writing down Chuuya's progress in his year of vampirism.

It's barely been 2 days, and too much has happened. It almost feels like sensory overload. First things first, on December, --, 20--, Chuuya broke into the agency, and was a vampire. I still have the bite mark, and it hurts like hell, now I have to use more bandages :(. Which reminds me that I need to find blood for Chuuya to eat. Can vampires eat animal blood?? Maybe I can use blood from the pharmacy. Anyway, yesterday, I found Kyūketsuki with the help of Ranpo-san, in which I found out that even though I nullified the ability of more vampires spreading, the vampires will remain that way for an entire year, or specifically, December 31st, at 11:59 pm. Which is quite annoying. Oh, right! When I met with Kyūketsuki, he ended up offing himself, which, if I'm honest, I'm disappointed that he didn't commit a double suicide with me :'(, though, then again, I'd rather do it with a beautiful woman

At this point, I still don't trust the Port Mafia with Chuuya. It's not like I care for the slug, it's just a strong feeling I have, it's unbearable actually. I just feel like the Port Mafia, specifically Mori-san, will try and experiment on him. Just like N did. I do trust Koyou-san though, I know that she does care for Chuuya, even if just a bit. Chuuya has been with me for 2 days, and knowing Mori-san, he'll send out a search party, it probably won't take long for them to realize that I have him.

I guess that's all that really happened so far.

Dazai sighs as he closes up the notebook, it was around 2 am, he would be sleeping, but it's hard to do that, when you have a small vampire nibbling on almost everything.

"Chuuya..I told you~ I'm going to have to buy you dog toys if you don't stop biting the pillows"

Dazai said tiredly, as toffee eyes watch the vampiric redhead chew on his futon pillow

All Dazai got was a growl, and a pillow thrown at his face.

"Sigh, y'know, ane-san might get mad at you for causing destruction~"

Which earned Dazai another growl

"I'm going to sleep, please don't destroy anything Chuuya, because since your fangs are growing, you are practically teething again. And plus, as a vampire you practically act like a child"

Dazai says tiredly, as he stands up and grabs his pillow. He soon lays down on his futon, and falls asleep.

This chapter was more of a "here's what happened so far" mostly cause the last chapter happened so quickly. This is also probably the shortest chapter. Thank you for reading this mess, I appreciate it :)
