Gabriel poofed back into the room, carrying a tower of junk food and movies equivalent to a small Eiffel Tower. "Baaaaack!~"

"What movies did you get?"

"Ehh.. The ring two, Friday the 13th, basically any movie with Freddy Kruger in it, Saw, Paranormal activity, Texas chainsaw massacre. Y'know, some well known horror flicks."

"What movie should we start with?" Sam asked.

"Since Cas has never really watched a horror movie, let's wean him into it by starting with The Ring. It's not that bad," Dean suggested.

"The Ring two it is," Gabriel announced, and with a snap of his fingers, the movie was set up and playing. Everyone sat on the couch and watched.

It was now the part where the girl from the haunted video was crawling up a well after a woman. Sam and Gabriel had fallen asleep. Castiel hugged Dean's arm. "She will not come out of the television and kill us, correct?" he asked quietly.

"It's just a movie, Cas. She's not real."

"Oh. Alright."

Everyone was quiet until the end of the movie. "What'd you think, Cas?"
By this point, Castiel was hiding his face in the crook of Dean's neck. "You alright? The movie wasn't that scary."

"Life was much more simple when we were cats."

"Hey, it's alright. It was your first horror flick. I'll cut ya some slack."

"I really do hope we're not cursed, Dean."

"We aren't, I promise. But if you're worried about a creepy-ass girl with long hair crawling out of the tv, don't worry, I'll protect you," Dean murmured soothingly and looked down at him.

Castiel lifted his head for a moment and stared into the endless evergreen forest that was Dean's eyes. With no warning, he leaned in and gave Dean a quick, but meaningful kiss. "Thank you."

Dean was absolutely flustered. It was his turn to hide his face. He buried his face in a heap of trench coat, managing to blurt out, "I love you," in the process.

Castiel smiled. His fear was gone. "I-I love you too."

"That was adorable," Gabriel's voice rang out.

"Oh shut up," Dean grumbled. Castiel rested his head on top of Dean's and shrugged. "Will we be watching the another movie?"

"Of course. And hey, if it gets too scary, I'm here to keep you safe. Always."

"If you two keep this mushy gushy stuff up, I'm gonna turn you into cats again."
