Quite the Surprise [Destiel/Sabriel AU]

Chapter 8

"Balls," Bobby grumbled, slumping down on the couch where Dean and Castiel sat suspiciously close to each other. "I found nothin'. Did you two idjits even look for the cause of this?"

"No, we did not," Castiel stated. "We were busy sleeping together."

"C-Cas! Not like that, damn it! You made it sound like something else!" Dean defended.

"You two, I swear..." Bobby sighed. "Either of you know where Sam is?"

"..Last I heard, he was trying to get food out of the kitchen," responded Dean.

"There's no one in there. That was one of the last places I checked."

At that very moment, Sam walked into the room. "Hey, guys. So get this.. I found who did it." Gabriel popped up and gave a devilish grin, looking quite pleased with himself from on top of Sam's back.

"Hyia Dean-o, Cassie, and uh.. Bobby, right? Yeah. What's up?"

"You know what's up, dickhead.." Dean grumbled.

"Hey, no need to be a cranky kitty."

"Gabriel. Why did you turn us all into felines?" Castiel asked.

"'Caaaaause.. I thought it would be funny, and I was right!" Gabe sneered.

"Well 'ha-ha,' joke's over!" Dean grumbled.

"Calm down, Dean. It's not like any harm was done anyways," Sam defended.

"Yeah, it seems like you scored something out of this situation~" Gabriel teased, giving an obvious, slightly dramatic wink.

"Seems you did too, mister 'I should have diabetes by now,'" Dean shot back. Sam meowed in protest.

"Hey, hey, hey, don't bring the candy into this!" Gabe squeaked and snuggled into Sam's soft fur. "Do we haaaaaave to change back right now..?"  he whined. Sam didn't respond because if he did, he'd agree with Gabriel. Mostly because of his obvious attempt to persuade him without words. Neither Dean nor Castiel replied either. It was up to Bobby.

"... Idjits," he sighed.
