- We should get to our next class, I said and started to walk but I felt him holding my arm and then he slammed me against the lockers.

- I asked a question. I expect an answer back, he said with a mad voice.

- Why do you care who it was. We are over anyways, I said. Catching me off guard, Nick slammed his hands against the lockers just above my head.

- You really think that I'm going to let you off the hook, he asked.

- Moving on was actually something I was hoping you could do, I said and looked at him.

- Well my ex girlfriend broke my heart and now she is a little slut who easily sleeps around, he said and laughed. After hearing those words, without even thinking I slapped him across his face. Catching me by surprise, he grabs my wrist and slams it against the locker.

- Let her go, someone said. I looked at the right and saw Derek standing there with his hands in his pockets. My ex smirked but still held my wrist.

- I said let her go, Derek said and walked closer to us.

- What if I don't, Nick said.

- Let her go or else, he started.

- Is that a threat, Nick asked.

- Could be, Derek said. Nick just laughed.

- Fine I'll let her go, Nick smiles at me before pushing me on the floor. The next thing I see is Derek holding my ex by the collar of his shirt. Derek slams Nick against the lockers and my eyes widen. I never saw so much anger just by looking at someone's eyes.

- You are so dead, Derek said. From the corner of my eye I could see a small crowd forming. I ran up to Derek and stared at his eyes.

- He's not worth it. Let's go, I said. When Derek looked at me his eyes seemed to soften and he let go of Nick. Me and Derek left Nick on the floor with the crowd still looking at us.

I wasn't expecting any of that to happen. I sat down on the stairs and looked at Derek.

- I'm sorry, I whispered.

- What are you sorry about, he asked.

- For dragging you into this mess, I said. Derek sat down next to me and I looked down at my hands.

- Baby look at me, Derek said but I continued to look down. Derek lifted my chin up with his finger.

- You didn't drag me into this mess, he said and looked at me.

- Yes I did. You almost got into a fight because of me, I said. I slowly glanced at him and saw a small smirk forming.

- No, I almost got into a fight because I really care about you. Not because you made me, he said and smiled. Derek slowly began to lean in and I was about to do the same until.

- You know that we shouldn't be kissing in public, I whispered.

- Is there anyone here, he asked and smiled. I looked left and right and it seemed to be pretty empty. I rolled my eyes and I pulled him into a kiss.

After a long complicated day at school, I finally had my alone time with Derek. No one knew about our parents being together so we had nothing to hide.

- It feels good to come out and have our first date here, he said and smiled.

- Did I hear the words first date, I asked.

- Ah you're right. Should I say our second date, he asked.

- When was our first date, I asked and looked at him.

- You know when I gave you the mark to show that you are mine, he said and smirked. After hearing those words I couldn't help but to be shy.

- Also the mark that almost got me into problems, I said.

- But you know that I wouldn't let anything happen to you, he said and smiled. Derek always seemed to know how to make me feel better. I was lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice Derek holding my hand. I looked at his hand as he intertwined his fingers with mine and I became a blushing mess.

- Babe I was thinking that we, was all he could say before my phone went off. I looked at the phone and It was his mother who was calling.

- Hold that thought, I said. I got up from the table and answered the phone.

- Hello, I said over the phone.

- I'm sorry to interrupt whatever you were doing. You have a surprise visitor at home waiting for you, Luna said over the phone.

- Oh. I'll be home shortly, I said. Both of us exchanged goodbyes and I walked back to Derek.

- Who was that, Derek asked as he slowly brought the water bottle to his lips.

- Your mother, I said. His eyes widen as he pulls the water bottle away.

- What did she want, he said.

- I guess I have a surprise visitor waiting for me, I said and smiled.

- Who, he asked and looked at me.

- I have no idea, I said and looked confused.

Sadly I had to cut the date short with Derek. The two of us arrived home and the first thing I did was walk in the living room. As soon as I stepped in, my eyes widened when I saw him. My ex was sitting next to Luna.

- What is he doing here, Derek asked when he stepped in the room.

- Hello Lea and Derek, he said and smirked. I glanced at Derek and noticed his fist by his sides.

- He came to talk to Lea, dad said and smiled. Nick got up from the couch and smiled at me.

- Can we talk somewhere private, he asked. I nodded and pointed at the backyard. I gave Derek one last look before I left the room.

I stepped outside and closed the door behind me before looking at Nick.

- What are you doing here, I asked.

- It's nice to see you again, he said and smiled.

- Cut the crap. What do you want, I asked and I could see a huge smirk on his face.

- Come back to me, he said.

- Do I have to tell you again that w. Before I could finish the sentence Nick cut me off.

- Or else I will tell everyone about you and Derek, he said and smiled.

- Okay go ahead and tell people that we are siblings, I said.

- Tell them that and also that you two have something going on, he said and laughed.

- Wait what, I asked.

- I know about you and Derek, he said.
