Derek's perspective

Just hearing those words were enough to get me to the point where my anger took over me. My fist was about to touch his face until.

- Punch me and I will send the picture to the whole school and your mother, Nick said and smirked. I couldn't help but to laugh. He thought threatening me was going to stop me from punching him. I acted as if I were about to walk away until I turned around and punched him in the face with no warning. He looked in the opposite direction of me while holding on to his jaw and I continued to stare at him. He slowly faced me and smiled.

- You're going to regret it, he said. At this point I didn't care what he was capable of doing. I just wanted him to be quiet at this very moment. I went back for another punch and the next thing I knew he started to return the punch. I pushed him back against a tree and continued to punch his face as many times as I could.

- Derek, Lea screamed. I continued to punch him letting the anger take over.

- Derek, Lea screamed again. Just as I was about to punch him one last time, I felt a pair of arms wrapped around me from behind.

- Derek. Please let him go, Lea said against me. I wasn't going to stop but her arms around me made me feel guilt. I let go of Nick and he looked at me then Lea.

- Lea. let's go, Nick said and tried to get hold of her arm but failed. She raised her hand up and stared at him with a disgusted face.

- You and I are nothing. We never were, she said.

- You don't mean that, Nick said. He tried again to get a hold of her hand but I got in the way and stopped him.

- Don't even think about it, I said and looked at him. He looked at Lea and me, he pulled out his phone. Is he doing what Lea was afraid of? I noticed him typing something up and then looked at me and Lea. He flipped the phone to show so we could see what he did. There was a message above the picture of me and Lea kissing and he smiled.

- If I were you two, I wouldn't show my face in school tomorrow, he said and smiled. I noticed him slowly going to the press button. Lea tried to reach for it but he was much taller than her. I was going to do something but something was stopping me. Maybe my mom finding out could be a good thing. I wouldn't have to keep my secret with Amber a secret anymore. Maybe we can be together officially. I got out of my thoughts when I realized what just happened. I looked at Lea and at Nick and realized the picture was sent. I glanced at Lea and she glared at Nick before she walked away without saying anything.

Lea's perspective.

Not only were I mad at Nick but also Derek. He was there watching Nick sending the message to the world. Derek could have stopped but he didn't. I couldn't walk to the door knowing that I had to deal with all this at home.

- Lea, Derek screamed.

- Not now, I said. I was about to turn the knob until I felt someone touching my hand and stopped me.

- Lea. Can we talk, Derek asked. I faced my whole body towards Derek and crossed my arms.

- You have 5 seconds, I said.

- Why a, Derek started but I cut him off.

- One, I said.

- Lea d, he said but again I cut him off.

- Two, I said and looked him in the eyes.

- Ca, was all he could say before I had enough.

- Three four five. Whoops. Looks like your time is up, I said and turned away. I tried to reach the door but Derek stopped me again. This time he pushed me against the door and placed my hands over my head.
