"GO"

Midnight blew her whistle and everyone was off, they just had to survive for 15 minutes and they would qualify for the final round. They just had to wait it out and avoid everyone, which would be harder than they thought it would considering two people are out to get them.

Izuku tried to push that from his mind and focus on the game, mei had some weird boots on and was questioning what they did. "Mei, what are those boots you're wearing?"

"OH THESE BABIES! THEY CAN MAKE YOU JUMP REALLY FAIR VERTICALLY, IT'S A GREAT ESCAPE ROUTE IF YOU TIME IT RIGHT!"

'Holy shit are these crazy ideas of her's actually good?' Jirou thought in amaze. "So are those 100% working?" Jirou questioned

"Eh kindve, it's a 40% chance they don't work, BUT 60% IS FINE BY ME!" Mei screamed while running faster, which caused everyone to run off pace.

'We're so going to lose' Everyone else thought.

The four of them watched as teams all around the stadium were trying to to take each others headbands, some were able to succeed already and make it into the top 5, but other group such as Mineta's had already lost all of theres.

They only had ten minutes left, if they could just wait out the timer they could go into the last round, all they had to was wait-

"DEKU, EARPLUGS, GET THE HELL OVER HERE." Screamed an angry bakugo, his team was struggling to hold him because he was moving around too much. "Bakugo calm down, we're gonna trip." Kaminari wined. "SHUT UP EXTRA, KEEP GOING!"

'Well shit.' Midoryia's group all collectively thought.

"Izuku what are we going to do? We have the angry Pomeranian after us."

"I'm not sure, I can't use my quirk to get us away from him, and even if I could my legs would break afterwords and I would be liability. We have to find a way to get away from him."

Izuku knew that he was outmatched by katsuki by a lot. He couldn't just run away because they had a lot stronger people on their team so they could be trapped by their quirks 'shit, shit, shit, what are we going to do? We're so screwed.' Izuku was thinking internally

"Hey midoriyia." Mei had started to speak up. "Remember those babies I told you guys about? I made one to get us out of situations like these."

"Awesome, Mei! Get us out of here with it!" Jiro yelled in excitement.

"One problem!"

'Shit' the other three thought.

"It only has a 22% success rate, the other 78% of the time it blows up!" Mei said with too much excitement for her own good

"WHAT?! HOW DOES THIS MACHINE EVEN WORK?" Uraraka yelled.

"Well they're already attached to back of my legs, I got inspiration from engine boy over there. I saw his quirk one day while he was running to class at like 5:30 in the morning. So I tried to replicate the engines on his legs, I didn't have much success besides these pair, which worked once, unlike the others!" Mei saw the unsure look on their faces but chose to ignore it, she knew the machine would work when it needed to.

"Well can you turn on the machine already?! Anger issues is catching up!" Kyouka screamed

"You got it!" Mei screamed back

Mei grabbed a remote from her pocket, there were multiple buttons on it that didn't have a label on it. "Hmm which button is it again?"

'We are so screwed' the three other teammates thought

"Ah right this one!"

"Wait I just realized what is the physics behind this since, wouldn't Uraraka need one as well. We're still a member short, we have four people, the rest of the teams have five, we'll be uneven-" before Mei could blank out whatever izuku had said, she pressed the button.

They looked to be going fifty miles per hour around the stadium, they didn't know how long this machine would work for, and neither did Mei!"

A/N: I needed to get something out, I haven't been able to focus on this story in forever. I'm going to fail my junior year so I've been under a lot of stress. I promise the next chapter will have 4000 words to make up for the lack of updates
