But now I'm truly all alone in this world,
I miss the way you felt so close to my bones,Tap, tap. Felix felt someone tap his wrist as he headed on his way to his second-to-last lesson of the day, it was a Thursday and therefore this next lesson was one he shared with Chris.
"Hi there." Felix spoke, turning to look at the elder. "Ready for Geography?"
"Oh yeah!" Chris began, stepping into place at Felix's side. "I love learning about pieces of large paper with lines and names of places on it!" Chris had started to figure out how to make Felix smile and laugh, one of those ways was sarcasm. Which was something Chris was incredibly good at.
A small smile grew on Felix's lips, "Geography isn't just all maps, Chris."
"Oh yeah! Of course! You're absolutely right!" Chris exclaimed, "Rocks too."
Felix lightly punched Chris' arm. "CHRIS!"
Felix was laughing, that healed the pain from the younger's surprisingly hard punch. "I just can't get enough of that laugh." Chris said as the two wandered into their Geography classroom. Unfortunately, they had seats on almost opposite sides of the room but never stopped them from stealing glances.
Multiple other students entered the classroom soon after Felix and Chris, all of them unpacking their equipment and taking a seat. The lights, that were way too bright, were thankfully turned off and the large board at the front of the class was turned on. It revealed a screen with the date and title of the lesson in bold letters and a classic 'arial' font.
"Good afternoon class!" Their teacher began, "Today we are going to be focusing on the layers of the earth. Yes, I know you've done this before but it's always good to review and remind yourselves after a while." Their teacher was a man that looked to be in his 60s, had hardly any hair and an odd pair of spectacles. In other words he looked like your average maths teacher despite teaching geography.
The entire class opened up their books and prepared to get working on whatever task their teacher gave them after his endless and boring lecture on the topic.
"We begin with the very first layer of the earth, the one our feet are on right now this is the..." Their teacher continued on with his explanation but Chris was far from focused on him. The words became jumbled up until they were blocked out by Chris' mind. He had something way more important to focus on. Someone way more important. He had one elbow on the desk, the palm of his hand holding up the side of his face as he gazed at as surprisingly focused boy sat in the front row. If you drew a line from Chris to this boy it would end up in a straight diagonal line, yet the feelings Chris felt for the boy weren't quite as straight. He was amazed by Felix's side profile as the boy's gaze tracked the teachers movements around the room. Felix's jawline intrigued the older boy, how it was sharp yet still soft.
He was so distracted by the very beautiful boy he didn't even realise that the teacher was speaking to him until-
"Mr. Bang! I understand daydreaming is fun but your education is more important." The teacher snapped Chris back to reality, "I honestly don't have a care about the girls you are thinking about or the 'women' shall I say, that are sliding into your 'DMs' at home. Please focus, Chan."
Chris transferred his focus back over to the teacher, "Sorry sir, I'll stop daydreaming about girls." He didn't notice Felix's small smirk, however.
"Last time I checked, I wasn't a girl?" Felix said to Chris, as they walked down the hill at the end of the day. Nobody but the two of them, yet again. Not that anyone was complaining, that is.
"Who says I was thinking about you?" Chris replied, "After all, we are just friends."
"Your line of sight was directly at me and it didn't look like daydreaming to me. Especially when you got flustered when I looked back at you." Felix chuckled, finding joy in messing with the older boy (who obviously, let him).
"Shut up!" Chris nudged Felix who instead of either nudging him back or just ignoring him, pulled him suddenly into the alley they often found themselves in. Even though it had barely been a week and a half since Chris had first shown it to Felix. "What are you doing?"
"Giving you reasons to think about me in the middle of Geography." Felix said quickly, smashing his lips onto Chris'. He had his hands gripped to his collar, but he moved his hands so they were wrapped onto his tie. Their lips didn't seperate as Chris scrambled to find a place to put his hands and Felix dragged him down the alley by his tie and his lips.
Felix broke the kiss and let go of the tie, grabbing Chris' hand instead and pulling him throught the back entrance of the apartment building Chris lived in and dragging him up the endless flights of stairs. When they finally got to Chris' apartment, Felix reached into Chris' bag and whipped out his keys (because he obviously memorised where they were). He quickly unlocked the door and pushed Chris inside, following him quickly and locking the door. Chris had taken his bag off and Felix dropped the keys into the open gap in the bag. He then lightly shoved Chris further into his apartment and into his bedroom.
"Felix?"
"Shh." Felix pinned Chris down his bed and continued kissing him passionately, but it was far from one-sided. Chris hungrily kissed back, sliding his tongue into Felix's mouth. He was losing his breath between the lack of air between their mouths and the weight of Felix over him, but did he want to stop? Hell no.
Despite not wanting to, they seperated and Felix rolled over so he was lying beside Chris, as the two caught their breaths.
"Are you okay?" Chris asked, looking up at his ceiling and trying to differentiate shapes in the lines across it.
"I feel so alive and in love and-" Felix paused, "I feel happy, for the first time in forever. I feel happy."
"Yeah?" Chris rolled over to face Felix and gaze into his eyes, who did the same.
"Yeah." Felix spoke, before his words turned into a whisper. "And it's all because of you."
"Felix."
"Chris?"
"Will you be my boyfriend?" Chris knew what he was asking. He didn't know if Felix was ready for it. He didn't even know if he was ready himself. However, what he did know was that he loved Felix and he knew Felix felt the same. They couldn't run from that, even if they had to keep it between them. "Secret boyfriend, technically."
"Chris."
"Felix?"
"I'd love to be your boyfriend." Felix smiled, a beautiful and wide smile. One Chris couldn't wait to see more of.
"That fucking smile." Chris said, after a few moments of silence. "It kills me!" He dramatically put his hand on his chest and rolled onto his back.
"Oh come here, you dramatic idiot!" Felix pulled Chris into his arms, laughing as he did so.
"Um, excuse you? I'm a dramatic handsome idiot!" He acted offended for a moment before stretching his arms out of Felix's grip and wrapping them around the younger. "I think it works better this way."
"I agree."
"That i'm handsome? Or that you look tiny and adorable in my arms?" Chris smiled. He had Felix's head on his chest, his hand stroking the back of the boy's head and caressing his soft blonde hair.
"Both. Particularly the first one, handsome boy." Felix spoke, with a flirty tone. He looked up at Chris, which felt weird since normally they're the same height, and pulled down Chris' chin and pecked his lips before returning to his incredibly comfortable original position.
