Honestly,
Without you in my life,
Deep Inside,
I never felt alive,

"Good morning, my love." Chris wrapped his arms around his husband's waist. "Are the kids up?"

"Morning darling, surprisingly they slept in. I don't think that's gonna last long though." Felix chuckled, turning around and pressing his lips against the elder's. It had been ten years since they got married, in that ten years they had adopted 3 beautiful children. Minho and Hannah, the twins who were nine. Who were adopted only about a year into their marriage and 7 year old Olivia who was adopted a couple years after that. They made sure that they took complete care if their kids and that they were nothing like their own parents were.

"Ew! That's so gross!" Minho yelled, the minute he walked in the kitchen and saw his dad's kissing.

"Well good morning to you too, Min!" Felix chuckled, pulling his grumpy son into a hug.

"Morning Dad. Can you let me go?" Minho sighed, clearly having gotten 'plenty' of sleep.

"Nope!" Felix laughed, lifting the boy and flipping him so he was upside down. The freckled man still had a good grip on the boy, however and made sure he wouldn't drop him.

"HANNAH! LIV! DAD! HELP ME!!" He screamed, a massive grin on his face. His sisters both laughing their heads off at their brother.

"I'll avenge you Minho!" Chris cheered, running over to his daughters and mimicking the action that his husband did to their son. Chris was quite obviously stronger than his partner and so the act of doing what Felix could only do to one of their kids, he could do to two.

"No! Daddy!!" Olivia giggled as she and her sister were lifted into the air.

The two older males caught glances at eachother every so often and adored the moment they were having.

"Okay! That's enough! I'm getting too old for this!" Felix exclaimed, laughing as he placed the boy on the ground.

"You're twenty-nine, that's not old." Hannah pointed out, as she was also placed on the ground with Olivia.

"Yeah, but that's a whole 20 years older than you." Felix walked over to the fridge and pulled the 'uno reverse card' fridge magnet he was gifted for Father's Day a few years back.

"Wow, okay..." Hannah looked shocked but nowhere near as shocked as the youngest.

"HE DID NOT JUST PULL AN UNO REVERSE CARD? DID HE?" Olivia said, gobsmacked.

"Oh he pulled an uno reverse card!" Minho chuckled, "Anyway, I'm hungry. What's for breakfast?"

"C-" Chris began.

"And do not say cereal." Minho cut his dad off barely mid-word.

"Nothing then." Chris shrugged taking a sip of his morning coffee that Felix had been making before their kids had come downstairs.

"That's just-"

"Just what Minho?" Chris teased, tickling his son a bit. "Just what?"

"The most valid thing you've ever said, Dad." Minho fake-smiled, messing with his Dad just as much as his Dad was messing with him.

"Yeah, I had a feeling that was what you were gonna say Kiddo." Chris laughed, ruffling the boy's hair up. "Nah, I actually was thinking pancakes. As a treat?" He raised his eyebrows at his lover, expectantly.

"It's almost like you just want pancakes yourself? Aye, honey?" Felix let out a chuckle, looking confused at his husband's continued expectant expression. Until he realised, "What? No! I am not making them for you! Unless you want a burnt down kitchen, I wouldn't put that role into my hands babe. Brownies and cookies are my expertise, never pancakes." He looked over at his family, all four of them were suddenly staring at him expectantly. "No, you cannot have brownies or cookies for breakfast!"

"But why not?" Chris whined, enjoying teasing his husband too.

"Christopher!" Felix sighed, "You are supposed to be the responsible one!"

"How about we just go out for brunch in a bit?" Chris suggested instead.

"Oh heck yeah, that sounds great!" Felix agreed, causing Hannah to absolutely lose her mind laughing at her parent's antics.

After an amazing Saturday of fun, food and joy, Chris and Felix found themselves cuddling on the couch after putting the kids to bed.

"Darling?" Felix turned to look into his lover's eyes.

"Yeah?"

"I never told you this but..." Felix began, hesitating to speak further.

"What is it, my love?" Chris gazed at his husband lovingly.

"Before I met you and everytime we were seperated, I lost my spark. I lost myself, if i'm honest." Felix explained, laying his head on Chris' shoulder.

"I get that." The older male smiled, stroking his partner's hair.

"Honestly, without you in my life," Felix spoke, "Deep inside, I never felt alive"

How've you been?
I guess you're fine,
It's been pretty long since we've last seen,
Honestly,
Throughout my life,
Deep inside,
I've never felt alive,
The way you used to touch my soul,
Was always so sweet and lovely,
No matter how far apart we were,
You'd always pick up the phone,
But now I'm truly all alone in this world,
I miss the way you felt so close to my bones,
I'm sinking in the deep end,
I'll just try to cry myself to sleep,
Please stop this pain,
If you hadn't changed, then i'd still be by your side,
If I gave you one more chance,
Can we go back again?
You made me feel,
As if we were complete,
But now you're filled with nothing but conceit,
The times we had were bittersweet,
The way you used to touch my soul,
Had always kept me whole,
You'd always read my text,
And ghost me like you wanted me gone,
Now i'm truly all alone in this world,
I miss the way you felt so close to my bones,
I'm sinking in the deep end,
I'll just try to cry myself to sleep,
Please stop this pain,
If you hadn't changed, then i'd still be by your side,
If I gave you one more chance,
Can we go back again?
Honestly,
Without you in my life,
Deep inside,
I never felt alive.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" Felix apologised sincerely to the person he had collided with.

"Don't be sorry mate! I was helping you! You nearly walked into the road, you need to look where you're going bro." A bubbly boy that look about a year older than Felix exclaimed.
