The next day saw Felix's first experience of Herbology and Transfiguration classes. He immediately liked Professor Garlick, finding her nature comforting and soothing. He immersed himself in the class, taking notice of what ingredients he could grow himself for various potions and making a note of what seeds he needed to pick up from Hogsmeade.
Transfiguration was also very intriguing, with Felix finding that Professor Weasley was quite stern, but incredibly knowledgeable in the field. The subject interested him greatly and Felix was keen to head to the library to see what books he could check out to read up on.
By the end of his third day, Felix was feeling more settled in and more confident in his abilities to learn and catch up with the other students. He'd gotten to know some more students from the other houses in his lessons and he walked down the halls on his way to Crossed Wands with a spring in his step.
Finding the correct door to the Clock Tower, Felix waited until he was sure no one was looking and then slipped inside. Just inside the door, Sebastian leant against the wall waiting for him.
"You made it!" Sebastian beamed.
"Yeah, thanks again for inviting me," Felix grinned back. Sebastian pushed off the wall toward Felix, and it was then that he spotted Ominis leaning on the wall beside where Sebastian had just been.
"Hey, Ominis," Felix said politely. Ominis nodded in response.
Sebastian wrapped his arm around Felix's shoulders and led him into the room, toward a younger looking Gryffindor boy in the corner.

"Lucan, this is Felix, the new guy I told you about," Sebastian announced.
"Hi Felix. Lucan Brattleby," he introduced. Felix shook his hand.
"Felix Riversong," he returned.
"Are you the new fifth year everyone's been talking about?" Lucan asked, looking back at the clipboard in his hand.
"Yeah," Felix sighed. He wished everyone would stop talking about him, but he guessed it might take everyone a while to get over the shiny new thing in town.
