As promised, Ominis was indeed waiting for Felix outside of his common room the next morning. He was dressed casually in dark pants, boots and a black slim fitting jumper with a shirt collar showing and it made him look, in Felix's not so humble opinion, absolutely delectable. Felix beamed when he caught sight of him, leaning casually against one of the barrels opposite the common room entrance.
"Good morning," Ominis called casually as Felix stepped over to him.
Felix chuckled. "How did you know it was me?"
"You smell better than everyone else," Ominis said with a nonchalant shrug.
Felix grinned widely at him and as he reached him pulled him straight into his arms. "Thanks," he laughed lightly as he embraced Ominis tightly.
Ominis laughed as he rested his cheek on top of Felix's head, which was resting on Ominis' neck. Despite the fact that Felix was stockier in build, Ominis was a little taller than him and the way he always scooped him into an embrace made Felix feel warm and safe.
Eventually they pulled apart and made their way toward the Great Hall for breakfast. When they arrived, they took seats at the Slytherin table which was quieter. Felix's owl, Hermes, swept down and dropped a copy of the Daily Prophet on the table next to him before flying off.
"May I?" Ominis asked, gesturing to the paper. Felix slid it across to him, not really ever reading it much, honestly. He was truthfully only still subscribed as Ominis always liked to read the paper, so he kept it going for him.
Felix was tucking into his breakfast when Ominis laughed beside him. "Interesting. It says here that strange wooden gazebos have been popping up mysteriously all over the Highlands, no one is sure where they're coming from. Do you have something to do with this?" he asked with a cocked eyebrow.
Felix gulped. "Don't know what you're talking about," he said before stuffing some more food in his mouth so he didn't have to speak again.
Ominis laughed harder and put the paper down. "Honestly. What am I going to do with you?"
Felix blushed as Ominis ran his hand over his thigh under the table. Suddenly everything from last night, their intense session on the couch and his interesting bath afterwards all rushing back to the forefront of his mind. He desperately tried to think of anything else to distract him.
"So, I had an idea," he said, trying to re-direct the conversation. "Something I want to show you."
"Oh?" Ominis asked, interest piqued. "Do I get to know what it is?"
Felix grinned. "All I'll tell you for now is, courtesy of Professor Weasley, we have access to yet another secret room in Hogwarts," he whispered.
"Colour me intrigued," Ominis said in an impressed tone. "When are we going?"
"As soon as we're done here, if you like."
The two finished their breakfast, eating a little quicker as excitement took over. As they were just about done, Felix glanced up to see Sebastian walking toward the Slytherin table. He felt his face set in a grimace, still angry with him about their argument the night prior.
Ominis seemed to realise what was happening as he felt Felix stiffen next to him and heard the familiar footsteps approaching, and he squeezed his leg under the table. "Shall we go?" he offered.
"Please," Felix said a little huffily. The two stood and began to exit the hall, Felix rather deliberately avoiding eye contact with Sebastian.
"I'm angry with him, too, for what it's worth. Although that's not too uncommon an occurrence," Ominis sighed.
