[Ominis Gaunt x Male MC]
Felix Riversong was just an ordinary teenage boy, living a small, quiet life in a small, quiet town. That is, until one day, an explosion of magic burst out of him and changed his entire world.
Felix is the new fifth year a...
"Sebastian, where exactly are we going?" Felix asked for the second time, as Sebastian led him down the stairs of the Defence tower.
"Patience is a virtue, my friend. Come on," Sebastian smirked. Felix rolled his eyes but followed closely behind them as they walked down the stairs outside the Defence classroom, turning a corner down a small corridor. Felix frowned, he'd explored this tower quite thoroughly already and he was certain there was nothing down here but an old clock.
"Sebastian?" Felix asked confused.
"Trust me," the Slytherin said, his eyes glinting. They stopped at the end of the hallway in front of the old grandfather clock Felix had admired last time he'd come down here.
Sebastian waited until he was absolutely certain no one was looking, before pulling out his wand and tapping the various faces of the clock. "Pay attention, you have to tap them in this order," he instructed. Felix watched the pattern and tried to memorise it.
Sebastian tapped the last face on the clock and for a moment nothing happened. Felix was about to open his mouth to ask what was going on again, when suddenly he heard clicks and dials whirring inside the clock. Amazingly, a second later, the front of the large old clock popped open to reveal a door to a secret passageway.
"No way," Felix breathed in disbelief.
"Follow me," Sebastian grinned at him.
Felix stepped inside the passageway after his friend and pulled it closed behind him. Sconces lit the hallway to light their way, and it was only a short walk until they arrived at a large metal grate, which opened at their approach.

Felix felt his mouth drop open as they stepped into a gigantic room, easily twice the size of Hecat's classroom above them. There were old crates and boxes stacked in various corners, old empty portrait frames and oddities dotted around on the walls, a table with some mismatched chairs, and even a couch against one of the walls.
"What is this place?" Felix asked in amazement.
"This, my friend, is the Undercroft," Sebastian announced smugly.
"It's... amazing!" Felix grinned widely as he took the place in. It was a bit dusty and looked a bit like an old cellar, but it was definitely brilliant. "How did you find it?" he asked, burning with curiosity.
"It's actually an old family secret of Ominis', the Gaunts are the only ones who know it exists, given their ancestor built it and then never told anyone," Sebastian explained.
"Wait, his ancestor built it? What do you mean?"
"The Gaunts are descendants of Salazar Slytherin," Sebastian said, as it if was obvious. "Didn't you know?"
"No, I didn't," Felix said in a new amazement.
"I forget you're new to all of this. Yeah, his family are about as pureblood as you get, descended from Mr Pureblood himself," Sebastian said a bit derisively. "He built loads of secret rooms in the castle when he founded it with the others, and only told his ancestors about them, wanting to keep them secret. This is one of them," he waved his hands around to indicate around the room. "It isn't much, but it's a good place to get away, practice new spells, you know."
