During these four days period, Charles and Autumn had started having little arguments.

In beginning, these were short, little argument. But now, they were getting more and more heated arguments.

Charles who would never in his right minds would do a thing like this, did something he regretted later.

He kept going to college and pretended to ask her parents about Autumn and her where abouts. He had already deleted the CCTV footage of him and Autumn going to the lab. And also made sure that there were no witnesses.

But here in the house, whenever he would go and try to have a small talk or something with Autumn, she would start shouting at him.

In the starting, Charles used to just listen her, and ignore her rudeness because he thought she might be panicking but then she starts blaming him.

Blaming him for things he hadn't even done.

Like drugs, trafficking and all. We can exclude the drugs part because he gave drugs to Brooks, but she blamed him for using the drugs. Which wasn't true. For her, for his Snowflake, he would never ever do that.

At first he didn't say anything cause he thought she just might be assuming the things to clam herself down.

But as the time passes, Autumn starts becoming more rude towards him.

To cheer her up, today, he pretended to do an experiment.

She is becoming sad day by day.

I have to do something. Wait, I should act. But what if she becomes more sad or angry?

But what if it cheers her up?

So, accepting the positive fact more.

I will do it.

I filled a test tube with water. And went to her room.

She was sitting on the bed looking out of the window towards the forest around, she looks like as if her soul had left her body.

It aches my heart.

It seems like her smile had disappeared and she can no more smile.

I clear my throat, gaining her two seconds of attention, which was like a water for thirsty.

"I hope you still remember the consequences of each acid." By saying this I showed her the test tube.

She looks at it. Her blue eyes scanning the test tube.

"What is this?" She asks blankly while looking at the test tube.

"Hydrochloric acid." I said trying not to laugh or spoil the moment.

"Ohh" she said and adverts her eyes from my hand to the window.

"Ohh?" I know she recognised it's not an acid, but I wanted to play with her so I played as if I was confused and didn't catch her.
