Tears flow down your face counting the small amount of money you had left after paying bills and paying off your house only to find that you didn't have enough to make a trip to the grocery store to grab things for the month and more food. You manage to eat on your last ramen packet before taking a hot shower to ease your sore body before falling asleep tucked underneath your covers not hearing the spare key being used and Ava walking in with groceries putting them away before finding you in your bed asleep smiling as she changes into a pair of spare clothes she left since the two of you had been seeing each other for the past year waking up wrapped in her arms smiling as you head to the kitchen to grab a drink only to find your empty fridge from earlier now filled with groceries enough for the next two months feeling tears form in your eyes as you start making dinner melting in the warm hug with ava when she walks in the kitchen to find you cooking rice and shrimp as your heart swelled pulling her into a sweet kiss "You didn't have to" she shakes her head before you could say anything else. "I know you've been stressed a lot and money's been tight" you nod as she holds you in between bites of dinner and sips of soda "Thank you baby, I love you" she smiles pressing a kiss to your temple before she goes to wash the dishes coming back a few minutes later putting a blanket over you wrapping you in her arms watching movies "I'll always help you baby don't worry about it" the words and earlier action makes your heart swell as you were molded to her side on the couch for the rest of the evening.
