The past year had been wonderful and a mess all at once having gotten married to your wife Indi earlier last year and seven months later the two of you decided to start a family. You had gone through on and off IVF treatments with no luck talking on and off in between about adoption which was the second choice in case IVF or having a surrogate wouldn't work but both of you knew for years that you wanted to be parents especially since the two of you got together and even more after the wedding "Baby it's okay don't be hard on yourself because of the difficulties of these treatments" after two and a half months of not doing any treatments you finally gained courage to do one final treatment before looking into adoption and surrogacy growing sick and tired a week after the last treatment but it wasn't until you started having strange eating habits and unbearable nausea that you had a feeling of something not being right leading to you doing a home pregnancy test that came back positive quickly getting an appointment to the doctor the next day where you had blood drawn waiting at home with indi taking care of you. A few days later you get a call with the results both of you crying and cheering after hanging up the phone with the nurse absolutely thrilled that you were pregnant after so long and the two of you telling your families and friends made the excitement grow even more and yet again when the two of you saw your bump start to form either of you unable to keep your hands away waiting for when you'd start to feel kicking and when the first kick came both of you teared up and over the course of your pregnancy the two of you watched each clip of a kick and ultrasound and when your son was finally born both of you were unable to let anyone hold him for long before he was back in either of your arms.
