Normally you wouldn't go to big parties especially with people being drunk out of their minds but you reluctantly decided to come to your best friend's party for the new year as the first step of changing a few things in your life. You noticed a tall man across the room as you sipped on small sips of wine until the next thing you knew was the same man beside you which made heat flood through your face realizing just how attractive he was and what confuses you was the fact that out of the women at the party including your best friend that he was next to you and he hadn't even spoken yet, "Te ves tan hermosa Bebita" you didn't know what he said but it still made your heart skip a beat and wonder what he truly said but it was after learning the other's name and what the other did for an occupation that really made the two of you click since both of you were into martial arts and pretty athletic with him being a wrestler and you being a gymnast soon agreeing to workout at the local gym and show off your skills to each other the next week as the alcohol loosened your mind and your anxiety. The night went by with a breeze as you drink a passion fruit cocktail along with a mai tai leading to you falling asleep in bed with your best friend as was tradition for the two of you to share a bed, you slowly walk to the kitchen with your head pounding and slightly dizzy as you grab a glass of water and an over the counter pain reliever not expecting to turn around to see damian drinking orange juice with a small smile seeing you as you grabbed your purse and keys leaving a note on your friend's nightstand before you and damian walked out the door but not without exchanging phone numbers and surprisingly to both of you a kiss on the cheek in the driveway leading to you laying in bed after a cool shower with a big smile.
