Bucky motions for you to follow him as he walks out of the house. He is making sure to listen for any movement outside but there really is no sign of anyone else. He turns to you.

"Do you have a car?", he keeps his voice low while speaking.

You shake your head.

"They did", you pass him and walk straight up to the car the two men came in.

"You really have everything covered, don't you?"

He quickly follows behind you with an amused smile on his lips.

"You'd be surprised", you chuckle as he starts to inspect the car.

Bucky notices that you are waiting for his go-ahead before getting close to the car. Maybe he was a bit too cautious, but you didn't seem to mind. He looks around once more, making sure no one is hiding anywhere.

"Alright. We're good to go. Let's get out of here and lay low somewhere until we know what's going on."

You let him drive the car while you work something out on the phone.

"I know where to go."

Then you give him simple instructions while he drives off. Bucky nods his head and follows your instructions. He isn't surprised that you already came up with a plan on where to go. You two have never been a good team and you both tried to avoid working with the other one. But one thing he knows for sure: You know what you were doing. And he respects that. In a way, he is almost a little relieved to be in this situation with someone who always seems to have a plan b. You always plan everything three steps ahead which is something he has always been very impressed about. Especially today. You don't even seem to be concerned at all.

You only drive for a short amount of time when you tell him to already stop the car in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing but an endless, small road, open fields to your right and a small forest to your left. Bucky follows the instruction. He steers off the road and pulls the car over to the side.

You grab the phone and dial to call the police. Though a little surprised, he shrugs and waits for what you are about to say.

"I'd like to report on a fire. I've just been driving down this road when I saw a burning car on the side of the street."

When the dispatcher asks for a description of the car, you describe the car you are currently sitting in.

"Where exactly is the car burning?", they ask you.

The dispatcher is taken aback by the news. They are immediately alarmed. Bucky keeps a close eye on you. He is intrigued by what you are doing. While knowing exactly what you were doing, you put on your most confused and alarmed acting voice.

"I... I don't really know... I'm not from here... I'm not familiar... There are fields on one side and a forest on the other side... I... Can't you locate my phone?"

That's when you mute the call.

"Time to get out", you tell Bucky.

He quickly nods and you both get out of the car. While grabbing all you stuff out of the car, you look around.

"There's a car dealer two miles from here through the woods. I say: We go there, get a car, drive a couple of hours and check in to some random motel along the road tonight. What do you think?"

Bucky seems to like your idea and already starts walking towards the woods, nodding his head as a sign for you to follow. At a somewhat safe distance, you get something out of the prepacked bag. You take out a little container, light it on fire and throw it straight at the car. A few seconds later everything explodes so that now there really is a burning car on the road. You smirk at Bucky. Bucky seems a little taken aback by what you just did. There is something about the way you just handled this situation so casually that deeply impresses him.
