Elina was in the bathroom,  Ceasar just took off his shoes and hoddie and got into bed.

By the time Elina was done he was fast asleep. She got in next to him. She couldn't fall asleep she kept tossing and turning.

" come here " he said his eyes still closed , she laid on his chest , he wrapped his arms around her and she finally fell asleep.

Elia got home late reeking of booze , Peter was getting himself some water.

" I didn't know you drink " , " wouldn't you do the same if you were me? " , " no , you should get to bed don't let people see you this weak " she walked away.

He walked back up and slept in Ceasar's room.

Elina woke up in the middle of the night and walked to her balcony.

This was usually why she didn't like sleeping sober , she could hear screams , howls from a distance.

Ceasar noticed and got up hugging her from behind , " what's wrong? " , " it's nothing " , " you don't have to lie to me , I know you hear the howls and screams ".

She turned looking at him he moved them to sit " when you an Alpha , you hear these voices but only because you haven't trained your wolf to shut them out.

That is what the festival is about , to train you to be one with your wolf and being around others is also good.

You don't really have good communication skills , I am thinking that's cause you're always alone ".

" I don't like talking to new people " , " I know but you have me , there is nothing wrong with you".

" what really happens at the festival? " , " the festival is what helps young wolves find themselves.

It's where you're are choosen to be warriors , teachers , doctors , seers , or hunters.

It helps you manage your wolf, know what triggers it and how to talk to it.

Like how Peter could talk Azir down, since you're an Alpha it's good to train with your Beta so they can learn ways to calm you down or get you out of situations.

The festival is just a place where werewolves feel free to be who they are without judgment.

As Alpha you're are also taught how to manage your pack , how to hide your Alpha scent , and many other important things " he explained.

" it won't be weird if I go there right? " , " I won't lie , people don't know you exist , you being there might be uncomfortable and everyone will talk about you.

You will need to prove yourself they expect you to be less than your sister , main thing is you will have a tough time , that's why I'll be joining ".

" anyone can join? " , " mhhh " , " won't it be weird if you join? You're engaged to my sister " , " don't worry about that , I'll talk to father when I get home ".

" you going home ? " , " mhh tomorrow " , " okay " , he kissed her forehead " don't worry I'll come back to help you sleep , the festive will be the day after so I'll see you properly then " , " okay " , " don't be with boys when I am gone " Elina looked at him.

" you were so jealous,  you couldn't even hold your wolf back " , Ceasar rolled his eyes " like you'd be fine if you saw women around me ".

" I am not the jealous type " , " we'll see " he picked her up and walked back to the bed.

" tell me about your mother " he suddenly said , that took her off guard,  her face changed.

" my mom was , a beautiful woman , long brown hair , she cared for nature that's why she had that cottage house built.

She liked baking , anything that had to do with the kitchen she loved it,  I was closer to her , we would cook together,  go to the old age , and help at the hospital,  mom was also a nurse.

Because I was weak she would take me to places she felt were safe for me.

Mom was loved by all here , she was the sweetest,  that swing at the garden , I made that for her with Collin when she started getting sick.

Mom had cancer she knew long ago before giving birth to us , she was advised to terminate so the cancer won't spread but she kept us and later she passed.

When she did things changed , it was as if Collins was a brand new person , he never visited , never let me out and pretended I didn't exist.

People say it's because I remind him of mom ".

" she sounds like a lovely woman " , " she was " , " how did you know you needed to feed? To heal? " , " Celeste is a princess , she too has Alpha blood.

When she saw me , my eyes get dark in the morning and at night , I would cut myself to feed on myself , then she stopped me and let me feed on her " , " you used to feed on your mother didn't you? " She nodded.

" but I regretted it after, if I hadn't fed on her she wouldn't have died early " , " if you didn't feed on her you would've run wild and killed many " she sighed.

" enough about me tell me about you " , " well I am an only child.

My mom well she's just like yours everyone's favorite, I am sure you two will hit it off.

Father is strict when it comes to duties but a flexible father to even the orphans at the pack.

Right now I am sure he slept at the orphanage again , since I am not around my son is probably being hard on him".

" son? " , " my adopted son , Carl he's 8, he lost his parents at birth , I helped his mom give birth to him.

He lives at the orphanage because,  pack rules are unmated wolves can't adopt as Alpha , I need to lead by example.

Now that I have you maybe he can live with us only if you're up for it ".

" a kid ? Me? " , he nodded , " don't worry you can say no and I'll understand but do take your time , I don't need the answer right away.

I just found you we don't need to talk about kids already " , she yawned he pulled her closer.

" really don't speak to boys when I am not around tomorrow " , Elina lightly chuckled pulling him closer , she pecked his lips , " yes sir " Ceasar was surprised but liked that she was starting to feel comfortable around him.
