After Gale showed him the shrine he got a text from Mindy saying that he needs to meet them at the campus. So he went home and got a new costume, this time he was wearing the White Tiger Ranger costume.
He was currently walking on the campus looking for the others until he heard someone calling him.
"Hey Max, over here." Mindy called out.
Max turned to his left and saw Mindy and the others waiting for him at the bench and he walked over to them and he sat down next to Chad.
"How did you know it was me ?" Max asked.
"You're literally the only person I know who would wear a Power Ranger costume ?" Mindy said rolling her eyes.
"Okay 1, I don't care what you think, I love Power Rangers. 2, my girlfriend got this for me as a birthday gift. And 3, what is this meeting about ?" Max said.
"I'm about to explain the rules to our friends." Mindy said as she got up and stood in front of the group.
"Okay nerds, listen up. As terrifying as this all is, I'm actually glad I get a chance to redeem myself for not calling the killers last time." Mindy said.
Max looked at Chad who was writing something down on a notebook.
"Are you writing this down ?" Max asked raising his brow under his helmet.
"I have to be prepared." Chad said.
"It's fine. Okay. The way I see it, someone is out to make a sequel to the requel." Mindy said.
"Um, what's a requel ?" Anika asked raising her hand.
"You're beautiful, sweetie. Let's hold questions to the end." Mindy said. Anika smiled at her.
"Stab 1 took place in Woodsboro. Stab 2 took place in college." Sam said.
"So we think that the killer is trying to copy the movies ?" Tara asked.
"That is one possibility. Heroes now in college: Check. Suspicious new characters brought in to round out the suspect and/or body count: Check, check, and check." Mindy said.
"I don't like this." Ethan said.
"But it can't just be about Stab 2." Mindy said.
"Why not ?" Tara asked.
"It would make sense if it were just a sequel. But we're not in a sequel, because nobody just makes sequels anymore. We're in a franchise !" Mindy said spreading her arms out.
"You have a thing for the theatrics don't you ?" Max asked sarcastically.
"And there are certain rules to a continuing franchise." Mindy said.
"I had a feeling." Sam said and Max smirked at her.
"Everything is bigger than last time. Bigger budget, bigger cast, bigger body count. Longer chases, shoot outs, beheadings. You got to top what came before to keep people coming back." Mindy explained.
