Sam, Tara and Max were currently sitting in an interrogation looking at the pictures of crime scenes and Jason and Greg. Max took his Green Ranger helmet off and set it on the table. Detective Bailey came in the room offering them a smile and sat down at the table with them.

"Nice hair." Max complimented with a smile. Sam and Tara looked him with raised brows.

"Thanks kid." Bailey said. He had a Ghostface mask in an evidence bag and showed it to them.

"This was found next to the body at the apartment crime scene. DNA says it belonged to someone named Richie Kirsch. Does that ring a bell ?" Detective Bailey asked.

"We're familiar with him." Sam answered.

"We had an encounter with him last year." Max said.

"But the one that attacked us had a different mask on. It was kind of more beat up. Like it was older." Tara explained.

"Uh, I got to ask. Do you have alibis from earlier tonight ?" Determined Bailey.

"Yes, I was with Sam most of the time." Max said nodding.

"I was at a party with my friends." Tara said.

"Which was a stupid." Max commented. Tara gave him a look that said "are you serious".

"I was at my therapist's. I can give you his information. You can call to check if you want. And then me and Max met Tara at that party, where I tased a someone ." Sam said. Max squinted his eyes at her.

"How is that relevant ?" Max asked.

"Unrelated." Sam said.

"Was it before or after this happened ?" Detective Bailey asked showing Sam a video of her being harassed.

"Before." Sam answered.

"Did they seriously edit the video to make Sam look like the instigator ?" Max asked in disbelief.

"Sorry about that kid." Detective Bailey said.

"The point is, we were all with people all night." Tara said.

"So, our roommates dad just happened to pull our case." Sam said with eyeing the detective with suspicion. Max lightly hit her arm.

"Sam, his daughter is associated with us and anyone associated with us is a target to Ghostface. So, of course he would take the case." Max scolded.

"It's all right, Max. She has a right to be suspicious because it is a big coincidence. The detective who had this case, he offered it to me because it involves Quinn. So you're right about that Max. But I can totally give it back if you're uncomfortable. It's up to you." Detective Bailey said. Max shook his head.

"Don't do that. You have every right to be involved because your daughter could be in potential danger." Max said. Sam and Tara looked at Max wondering what he was doing.

"So if the who attacked you did steal your license and plant it next to the body, it'd probably be someone close to you. How long have you known your friends ?" Detective Bailey asked.

"Well, we moved here with Mindy and Chad for summer semester like, six months ago. Max has been here since September last year. So, Quinn, Ethan, Anika, all since then." Tara answered.

"I think I can vouch for Quinn, so that's one less we have to worry about." Detective Bailey said.

"So, that narrows it down to Ethan and Anika. Ethan seems shy, dorky, nerdy, and too oblivious. Anika seems nice, maybe a little too nice." Max detailed.

"That's good to know. What about you, Max ? Do you have any close friends ?" Detective Bailey asked.

"Other than Sam and the gang, I have a girlfriend. But she's currently in Italy with her parents. Maybe it could be someone we don't know. I mean, Sidney didn't know who Roman Bridger was, she never knew him personally but he was a killer." Max suggested.
