"He was trained in the Jedi arts. My only conclusion is that he was a sith lord." I stand silent, waiting to see how the council will respond to Quigon's briefing on his encounter and interaction with an assumed Sith Lord on Tattooine's dunes.
"Impossible. The sith has been extinct for a millennium." Master Ki Adi Mundi disagrees with not believing anything since, in his opinion, the timing is right for them to return, even if their predecessors are said to have killed the Sith. All that remains to be seen is the response of the current council.
"I do not believe the Sith could have returned without us knowing." There are undoubtedly additional ways for a Sith to conceal their force signature, but that method has long since been forgotten. Master Mace Windu's ideal for how a Sith would return is unquestionably a very stupid response.
"Ah, hard to see the dark side." I moved forward, drawing the council's attention with my cough, and Master Yoda motioned to me, letting me speak while he accepted Mace Windu's response to what Quigon had stated.
"On the contrary, I've spent far longer in the Jedi archives, looking through history, and this is what I've discovered. A cycle." As my response piqued the interest of the Jedi council members, Master Yoda permitted me to continue, as he was interested in my explanation for why the Sith would return now.
"Throughout history, I've looked at every significant period in time to see how it all fits together now as the most common thought in history. The Jedi rises, the Sith falls, and the Sith regains power and returns, destroying the Jedi." As this made the council members look among themselves, Master Mundi and Windu were in denial.
"In the most recent generation, when a Sith returns from the shadows, the Jedi Council never senses the dark side as they walk among everyone, plotting their move, and then acting when the time is right." This truly answered Mace Windu's question on why the sith returned, but they could not sense it or understand it.
As the council overlooked my warning, they continued, "We will use all our resources to unravel this mystery. We discover the identity of this presumed sith or attacker of your Quigon. May the force be with you."
"More to say, have you, Qui Gon?" As Quigon straightened back his robes, he continued, "With your permission, I have discovered a vergence in the force." As Master Yoda pigued forward, "A vergence, you say?"
"Located around a person?" As Mace Windu asks Quigon,. "A boy."
"His cells contain among the highest midi chlorians I have ever discovered. It was possible he was conceived by the mid-Chlorians themselves." As the Jedi masters look among themselves in disbelief,. "You refer to the prophecy as the one that will bring balance to the force? You believe it's this boy?" As Mace Windu attempted to corroborate the Qui Gon Theory, he thought the chosen one to be Anakin, who was concerned about what the council had referred to him as.
Quigon, who has delved into prophecy because of his interest in ancient Jedi teachings, came upon the prophecy of the chosen one, which was prophesied by old Jedi seers from the old republic.
As Qui Gon requested the Jedi Council to test Anakin to see if he was capable of becoming a Jedi, Qui Gon responded that finding Anakin was the will of the force; thus, without objection, I showed the council the boy and guided him to the centre of the room, but before I left, I told him to be strong.
I was coming out of the council chambers with Quigon and his apprentice, who were both opposed to Anakin failing the test because he was too old, but I knew that Quigon, who had always disobeyed the council, always had something to teach Obiwan.
