Traveling the world to stay a step ahead of a cult trying to harness her eternal youth, not knowing she is actually cursed. She visits Mystic Falls with her trusted friend and companion and is invited to the Mikaelson ball. She is served the spiked champagne and is linked to the Originals, and since she can't die, neither can they. Esther knew who Omorose was and felt threatened by the immortal woman, so she added her name to her childrens.
Omorose has studied everything she could get her hands on for over 4700 years. She is able to practice magic from different cultures. Interrupts the ritual Esther and Finn were performing. Omo unlinks the Originals and herself, saving the vampire race. Omo makes Esther mortal, and steals her essence, distributing it amongst the Originals. Kol gets his magic back.
