The truth comes to light when Deaton disappears and during their search for him, Stiles finds letters from Isaac's mother to 'Elijah Mikaelson'. The letters were never delivered. Deaton had hid them instead. But why? Stiles hands them over to Isaac where the truth is revealed.
Isaac, and Stiles venture to New Orleans to meet Elijah. What they uncovered was not what they expected. Will Elijah accept Isaac? Will he even believe that Isaac is his son? Or will he turn the boy away and they return to Beacon Hills brokenhearted?
