Part 11 . Meetings

Few days later
Nami's Pov
Its been quite long since we all gathered and had lunch together , so luffy wanted everyone to come to a restaurant, today .
I was just about to get ready then the bell rang .
"SANJI-KUN ? what are you doing here , we decided to Meet at the restaurant , right ? "
" Yes , but then I thought we could just go together "
"It's still too early for you to pick me up"
"Is it ? "
"Anyways, why are you wearing a weird t-shirt ? It says 'But I do' ? "
" It's because Namii-swan I brought this for you " he removed a piece of cloth from a bag, "ta da "
which says
"I don't do matching t-shirts?"
"Yes I don't, I'm not wearing that "
I said ..
" Nami-San it looks so good pleaseeeee"
" No way, im not wearing that and going outside especially to meet our friends, nope "
" Nami-san , it'll be so romantic " He said swinging his hands
"It'll be so cringeee"
" everyone will know that were dating"
"Everyone in our friend group already knows , who else needs to know ?"
" Namii - swaan , pleaseee, Nami san Nami - san "
"Sanji-kun ,stop it"
He changed his expression to a pouting one
"Okay fine whatever "
" you're the bestt"

I got all ready and we went to the restaurant where luffy, usopp and robin were already there .

"Heyy guys , you finally came I've been waiting for so long, what took you so long " luffy exclaimed

"You said 1:00 o'clock ,it's 12:50 right now , when did you even come ? And if you were waiting why did you already start EATING" Sanji -kun uttered

"It's a pre-lunch snack"

"Doesn't look like only snacks to me "

"Besides that what are you guys wearing " usopp said while looking at us with annoyance

I sighed

As time passed, Everyone managed to arrive before 1:20.
Brook was assigned the duty to bring zoro here so don't worry about him getting lost .

As we were peacefully eating ,
"Try this" I heard sanji-kun's voice who was trying to feed me something for the third time today .

Usopp seemed to be a little irritated with this ..

I ate whatever he was feeding me and with my spoon , I took some food
And gestured towards sanji-kun
"Here you try this , Sweetheart " and smiled at him .
"swe- swe SWEETHEART!!? " sanji-kun yelled. And almost fell of the chair but luckily Franky caught the chair .

" youre too loud you Stupid " zoro commented .

"Honestly , I was rooting for you guys so much but you guys are cringe " usopp stated

The purpose of doing that was to irritate him more 🤭

"Usopp-san , it's love and its beautiful , I wish I had someone whom I could feed with my hands ...but I don't have hands yohoo"
Brook laughed

"Well, we will have to ask Kaya, how you act around her , maybe then you can tell wheather it's cringe or cute " I commented with confidence

Usopp was silent , and was blushing

Franky giggled and continued while holding his phone
"OK let's call Kaya "

"Huh? Is Kaya here ? " luffy asked

" do you only listen to half of the conversation luffy ?" zoro questioned
"They are going to ask Kaya to join
us " He continued

"How are you always this confident ?" I asked

"Huh , What ?"

"Nothing " I sighed

The next day

Sanji-kun , has asked me to come meet his mother a few times , I'm excited but nervous . To not delay it anymore, I decided to go to meet his mother in the evening today . From what I had heard about her from sanji-kun I already adore her .

*Few moments later
(in nami's room)*

"Tell me sanji-kun , am I looking okay ? Should I like change ? Maybe into something formal ?"

"Nami-San, you're not going to an interview "

He walked towards me and holded both my hands and continued
"Ah you are just perfect! , Don't be nervous it's just a family meeting " He winked at him.

"I know , I really look forward to meet her and thank her for raising such a kind man . But- what if she does not like me ?"

" Nami-san ,There might not be a single person who doesn't like you. I know that she will like you , ...she already does "

I gave Him a Smile .

We reached his house
" oh hello , Sister-in-law - San , you're finally here " reju said .
"Don't call me that yet " I said while I was covering my face with my hand .
"Why ? I like it , I'll call you that "
As we entered I saw his mother sitting on a couch.
"Good evening, Sora-san "
"Aa good evening nami-chan , have a seat "
I then passed here the fruits I had brought for her on my way .
"For you " and smiled

"Oh you didn't had too ,
but thank you "
"So would you like to have some coffee or tea " She asked

"Tea would be better "
"I'll go make some , for you all " sanji-kun said .

"You look even more beautiful in person"

I smiled "Thank you sora-san ,
You look as lovely as I've heard "

She smiled as well .

"Nami-chan , thank you for taking care of my son , he looks happier than ever "

" no no , it's you whom I have to thank for raising such a good man , who always makes me feel that I'm special"

"Well that makes me happy ...
What else could a mother ask for other than her children's happiness.
I'm so glad you to found each other "

The talk continued over some tea and biscuits..
