Part 17: Shopping struggles

Nami's Pov

As soon as I reached home

"Care to share what happened " nojiko asked

"Nothing"

"Then why were you locked up i-"

" it was just some work stress "

"Can't really lie to your sister "

"Well , but then thats the tru-"
Before I could finish my sentence , tears automatically started falling from my eyes

I was trying to hold my tears

"No it's okay , you can tell me " She said while hugging me .

"W-we br-broke up "

She was a little shocked but after my behaviors these days it was quiet expected

" I taught we had something special, life was just perfect .. h-he was always there for me when I was feeling down , now he's the reason for it
" I said while I was crying

She slowly caressed my head
"Even when everything seems perfect , some relationship doesn't always work out. It may be hard for you , but you'll eventually get over it "

"It was sudden , he -"
I gulped , trying to speak (it is hard to speak when you cry 💁‍♀️)

"He suddenly ignores me for Three days and when I meet him , he said he was bored being in a relationship with me , I never expected him to say something like that .
it's - its also hard to watch him with someone else "

"He Said that..?" She mumbled

Talking to my sister was like pouring the sadness out of my heart , she gave me a tight hug whispering words of comfort .

The next day

As I woke up today to the annoying voice of my alarm ringing , my mood was a little  better .
I got up to move the curtains , the morning sun rays falling all over my face
"Ah ,I hope today will be a good day"

I decided to take me to the shopping mall
Shopping can fix anything ..

*Few hours later*

I arrived at the mall, after sometime my eyes met a similar figure who seemed frustrated

"Oii Zorooo"

"Huh?" He turned around

"Oh Nami?" He added .

"What are you doing here ?" I asked

"Shopping?"

"Ofcourse I know that you idiot "
I hit him in his head

"I'm asking what are you doing HERE standing infront of the women's clothes shops " I explained

"Oh, um ... to "

"Can you tell me a little faster , I don't have the whole day "

"I'm here to buy a dress for Hiyori, but I have no clue what do to "

He said while a light pink tint appeared on his face he looked away and Scratched his cheeks with his one finger .

" ahh I see ," I Said while poking his shoulder

" Stop it .. and help me ?"

"Is this how you ask for a favour ?"

"Fine then I don't need your help "

"Okay then "

*Few seconds later *

"Will you um help me ?"

"I was just about to leave, but wow you're so lucky to have such an amazing friend like me "

I took him inside the shop and decided to give him some options to choose from

"I know it's going to be hard to choose from the options I'm going to give you , because my options are too good so you'll be confu-"

I was turning around to face him while saying it but looks like no one was there to listen my blabber .

"Zoro? Zorooo?"

How could he get lost when I clearly took him inside with me .

He was not in this shop so I decided to search nearby

" zoro ? , zooro ! zoroo ?!, jeez where are you ? You green haired fool .!"

"Zoro? You fool How did you get heree-"

"I was about to ask you the same , you said 'come here' and then you weren't there  , it's your fault

"How is it my fault that you have zero sense of directions"

" you should have pointed of the way correctly "

"We were both standing in front of that shop , I said come here inside this shop why did you take a right turn ?

Anyways let's go now "

" Not that way you idiot come back " I almost yelled And followed him .

" why are there so many options " He said being frustrated

" Women likes choices , we are not basic like you .,wearing a plain shirt everyday "

"Argh , should I just get her some flowers ?"

"Is it for apologising for you're bad taste in fashion "

"Huh?"

"This one ? Is this good ?"

" Yes it's good , if you want end up being single "

"Zoro, stop picking up random dresses and asking me 'is it good ?' .
You just leave it to me " I added

After a hardful time of helping him shop I returned home .

I was going to my room That I heard some Talking noises from nojiko's room

She is home ? I thought she will be in work

The other voice was also smiliar , I heard my name so Eventhough I know it's wrong but out of curiosity I decided to eavesdrop ..
