Part 15 : The breakup up

Sanji's Pov

I'm currently drinking a coffee sitting at a restaurant, opposite to me is pudding-chan having her lunch .
I don't have the apetite to eat anything ,but I had to meet her for lunch today .

"Sanji-san.."

"Yes?"

"Honestly I had no idea they would arrange the marriage so suddenly , do you have any problem with this marriage?

I can't be honest with her , firstly I cannot break this marriage and secondly I don't want to hurt her feelings

"Why would I have a problem in marrying such a lovely lady " I smiled at her .

"DONT SAY SUCH WORDS SO SUDDENLY YOU STUPID SANJI .....
san"

"I didn't mean to say that" She mumbled then .

Well anyways ..
After a few minutes we left the restaurant.
I was returning home and everything which was such a happy place , seems gloomy ever since the past few days .
The clouds are getting darker maybe it will ..rain , I better hurry up

On reaching my house, I climbed the stairs quickly to my room and open the door only to see Nami-san sitting on my bed with her arms crossed.

No one's pov :)

"Nami - san ? "

"Oh sanji-kun , You're Alive !"

"Huh?"

"I just came to make sure.. because for the past 3 days , you are not picking my or any of our friends call, and you decided not to reply to my messages, when I came to You're house You were not there .." She said with frustration evident in her voice

The air around him went stiff and he was standing there still ,looking down, not able to utter a single word .

"Sanji- kun?"

"Did I do something wrong? Or did I say something to hurt you ? .." She added with a concerned tone as for her it was like talking to a statue .

She got up from the her position and took slow steps towards him..and slowly caressed his cheeks , and turned his face so that he could look at her .

"I'm sorry , just tell me what's wrong , and I'll ensure I won't repeat that again. " She said softly

"Sanji-kun ,
Just say something...anything ,just talk to me " She said while shaking his shoulder .

He felt a deep ache in his heart , he forced himself to spilt out few words

"you did nothing wrong " he said while moving her hands away from him .

He started to walk inside the room , a little away from her

"I needed some time to think about it"

"About what ?"

He left out a deep sigh and turned around to face her and with a serious look,  he said

" Listen, I have decided to marry someone else "

Her eyes widened in shock , knowing that he will not joke in this situation but it's the little hope on her heart made her spit out these words

"MARRIAGE ? tell me your joking "

"Why would I tell you that ? I'm very serious. Nami-san , you're a very beautiful and nice girl but sorry, to be honest I'm bored of being with you, I don't see the spark between us anymore .. I was trying to make this relationship work but I can't waste my time in a thing which has no future
so I think we need to bre-"

Her palm met his cheek with a sharp slap.
Getting that look and hearing those words out of a kind man like sanji was extremely painful and unbelievable

"B-bored ? " She tried to speak but was only able to stutter few other words .
Her heart was filled with unbearable pain as if someone stabbed her , straight in the heart .
Tears falling from her eyes

His situation was somewhat the same , only that he was controlling his tears , He loved her so much ,and hated being the reason for her tears.
It made him feel guilty

Darkness filled the room , everything went silent expect the voices of the fan and the little raindrops .

" fine then , I hope you have a happy married life "

She turned away and slamming the door She quickly rushed down the stairs , he could also hear the loud noise of her sobs

With the rain pouring heavily over her, she didn't mind and continued to rush to her destination, tears still falling, concealed by the rain. The flashbacks of them having good times flashing in her mind .

He took a cigarette out of his pocket and tried to light it up , the lighter was not working he was aggressively pressing the lighter and finally manged to light his cigarette, tears slowly dropping from his eyes .

He heard the door was opening, he quickly wiped his tears with his hands .

" Hey , why did nami-san leave in the heavy rain ..crying ?" Reiju asked

"I don-"

"Why are you crying? What happened to you guys "

"We broke up "

"What, why-"

" I left her , I started to like someone else .. but still seeing her cry made me tear up , thats it "

"Really? You can't lie to your sister "

"I'm not lieing-"

"Look at me! And say it again "

He turned to face her
"I . Left ...her , as I-I started to l-li- like"

He could not hold his tears anymore he started to cry .
She came next to him , caressing his back
" now tell me , what's wrong ?"
