As Vante finishes his first song, a wave of applause ripples through the book cafe. It starts near the stage, where a few enthusiastic listeners begin clapping, their hands meeting in rhythmic unity. The sound travels swiftly, bouncing off the walls adorned with shelves of books, adding depth and resonance to the applause.

The crowd, seated around rounded tables in the middle of the cafe, joins in, their applause blending with the music still lingering in the air. Each clap adds to the crescendo, filling the space with warmth and appreciation. "Sandbar" shines in neon lights behind Vante, who sits at the front of the audience with a guitar in his hands and a mic in front of him.

Vante's smile widens as he acknowledges the applause, his eyes sparkling with gratitude. "Thank you so much, guys," he says, his voice carrying over the lively chatter of the audience.

As he prepares for his next song, Vante's words capture the attention of the crowd. "This song is dedicated to my husband," he announces, his words met with a murmur of approval and affection from the audience.

"It's our third anniversary," Vante continues, a touch of nostalgia in his voice. A spontaneous "Congratulations" rings out from the crowd, prompting a chuckle from Vante. "Thank you," he replies, his gratitude genuine and heartfelt.

A playful tease follows as Vante shares, "But he's running late as usual," drawing sympathetic laughter from the crowd. With a quick glance at his fellow musicians, he checks if they're ready, receiving affirming nods in return.

"I hope you guys like it," Vante says, his voice carrying a mix of anticipation and excitement. With a final check-in with his bandmates, he takes a deep breath and begins to sing, the strumming of his guitar setting the rhythm.

Won't my life go bonkers, My dear. If you bind beauty to yourself, My dear

I'm still in the dreams, My dear.

He keeps saying this and doesn't leave me all-day

As Vante's fingers dance across the strings of his guitar, his voice rises to meet a poignant high note. In that moment, a floodgate of memories opens wide, carrying him back through the passages of the past three years.

Hey, he keeps asking me for a kiss. And I find him cute

When he says, my feet shouldn't touch the ground. I find him cute

When he is carrying me on his back, I find him cute

Even in anger I find him cute

With each lyric, Vante's mind drifts effortlessly into the embrace of cherished moments shared with his husband. The melody becomes a soundtrack to their love story, each strum of the guitar echoing the rhythm of their journey together.
