Chapter - 22

Entering the bar area, Jungkook scans the room until he spots Taehyung sitting at the counter with a frown. Sensing Jungkook's presence, Taehyung gets up and requests a shot from the bartender. He takes it swiftly and orders another, seemingly lost in a cycle of rage-fueled shots. Jungkook watches him, torn between the desire to intervene and the uncertainty of how to approach the situation. He eventually settles at a table with his staff.

One of the models approaches Jungkook, pushing a shot towards him with a smirk. "Here, have a shot," the model offers teasingly. Jungkook hesitates, glancing at Taehyung, who continues to consume shots relentlessly. The model remarks, "Can't handle a shot? Such a baby." The others join in laughter, but Jungkook remains focused on Taehyung, his irritation evident.

Frustrated by Taehyung's behavior, Jungkook grabs the bottle and drinks it all in one go, surprising the models with his sudden action.

Jungkook, now tipsy from the shots he's been downing, grabs one of the models and heads to the dance floor, where he starts dancing with various people-some human, some omegas, and pretty models alike. Meanwhile, Taehyung watches with growing fury as Jungkook indulges in his intoxicated revelry.

As Jungkook continues dancing, he occasionally glances over at Taehyung, but a model pulls him back into the dancing crowd, diverting his attention. Taehyung, feeling equally inebriated, staggers to his feet and makes his way to the dance floor. He pushes aside the model dancing with Jungkook and takes her place, making Jungkook slip his hand around Taehyung's waist.

Jungkook, lost in the moment, doesn't initially realize the change, but when he does, he looks down to see Taehyung beside him. Taehyung turns around as his hand cradles Jungkook's cheek, his gaze filled with fondness, admiring him. Sensing the familiar warmth, Jungkook's focus momentarily shifts, and he gently removes Taehyung's hand from his face, looking at him with confusion and conflict.

Finally, Jungkook walks away, leaving Taehyung feeling dejected and hurt. Taehyung follows after him, his steps unsteady from the effects of the alcohol, as he tries to catch up to Jungkook.

As Jungkook and Taehyung stumble along, Jungkook tries to straighten his jacket but his movements are clumsy. Taehyung, feeling aggravated, pushes on Jungkook's back, causing him to stumble forward. Unfazed, Jungkook tries to regain his balance, but his blurred movements cause him to drop his jacket.

Taehyung, his speech slurred due to drunkenness, begins to express his frustrations. "I heard your love story and imagined it as a great one," he mumbles, pushing Jungkook again. "But here you are, dancing with girls and models. Shame on you."

Jungkook, feeling tired and drained, slumps onto a nearby bean bag. He gazes at Taehyung, his words weighing heavily on his mind like a ton of bricks. Looking up at the sky, Jungkook silently wishes, "God, I wish that kid hadn't given me that puppy back. My life would have been blissful."

Taehyung, equally confused by the situation, looks up at the sky with a bewildered expression. Despite the tension and frustration, the absurdity of their drunken state adds a humorous edge to the scene.

As Taehyung sits next to Jungkook, he shakes him gently, trying to understand his drunken ramblings. "What kid? What wish? Say it clearly and loudly," he requests, his words slurred from the alcohol.

Jungkook, caught up in the moment, suddenly leans in close to Taehyung's face and blurts out, "Loud? Okay, then listen." His hand movements are exaggerated as he slurs, "Your brain's wire is screwed due to that incident." He quickly recoils, shushing himself, before leaning forward again. "You don't have wiring in the first place."

Taehyung, feeling offended by Jungkook's words, struggles to get up, his movements unsteady from the effects of alcohol. "Hey, speak about anything but my accident," he demands, his frustration evident in his voice.
