𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐋𝐔𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐐 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐄 through the bustling streets of Mustafa, his piercing gaze fixed straight ahead as if nothing in this world could capture his interest.
The morning sun cast a soft glow on his pale features, accentuating the coolness that seemed to emanate from him like an aura. Despite the crowds of people milling about, their gazes lingered on him longer than usual, whispers trailing in his wake like a ghostly echo.
As he approached Aldera Junior High, the school where he spent his days blending into the background, he couldn't help but notice the increased attention he was receiving.
It was all Hawks' fault, the flamboyant hero who had roped him into that ill-fated photoshoot. Now, his face was plastered everywhere, a constant reminder of a world he never asked to be a part of.
His indifference towards the stares and whispers was palpable, his icy blue eyes betraying no emotion as he navigated through the sea of curious onlookers.
To Iluliaq, these people were nothing but background noise, their fleeting interest in him as inconsequential as a passing breeze.
Iluliaq's stoic facade never wavered, his demeanor as cold and impenetrable as the ice he wielded with such ease. To those around him, he was a mystery wrapped in an enigma, a lone figure untouched by the warmth of human connection.
As the day unfolded before him, filled with mundane lessons and meaningless interactions, Iluliaq remained unchanged.
His heart, a frozen wasteland untouched by the fleeting sparks of emotion, beat on in an endless rhythm, a silent testament to the loneliness that consumed him from within.
As the final bell rang, signaling the end of another mundane day at Aldera Junior High, Iluliaq found himself face to face with dynamite in human form- Bakugo, the explosive tempered student who never missed an opportunity to pick a fight.
"What the hell, Ice Prince?!" Bakugo's voice thundered through the empty hallway, his eyes ablaze with fury as he cornered Iluliaq, blocking his path with an aggressive stance.
Iluliaq arched an eyebrow, his expression tinged with annoyance at the interruption. He glanced at his watch, knowing he had a shift at the coffee shop in less than an hour.
"What's it this time?" He retorted, his voice as cool as the arctic winds he once called home.
"A damn model now, huh? The protégée of the number three hero! How the hell did you manage that?" Bakugo's demand was as sharp as the crack of a whip, his incredulity fueling his fiery demeanor.
Iluliaq let out an annoyed sigh, his patience wearing thin. "I see no reason to justify myself to a brute like you." He replied, his tone laced with dismissiveness.
"You think you're above everyone, don't you?" Bakugo's voice rose in volume, his fists clenched at his sides. "Fight me, Ice Prince! Show me what you're really made of!"
Iluliaq sighed once more, a subtle signal that went unnoticed by his adversary. With a flick of his wrist, unseen by mortal eyes, he tapped into the ancient art of waterbending. In an instant, Bakugo's body froze in place, as if bound by invisible chains, unable to move a muscle.
Without a backward glance, Iluliaq stepped past the immobilized Bakugo, his footsteps echoing down the hallway like a whispered promise of things unseen.
As he disappeared around the corner, leaving Bakugo in his wake, the silence that followed was as chilling as the cold touch of winter's embrace.
As Iluliaq pushed open the door to the cozy coffee shop, the comforting scent of freshly brewed coffee enveloped him like a warm embrace.
