𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐍 𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐃 shores of Takoba Municipal Beach, the air crackled with tension. The cerulean expanse of sea to one side served as a stark contrast to the heated exchange unfolding on the sands.
Iluliaq stood tall and composed on the shore of, his gaze fixed on the figure before him. The sun blazed in the sky, casting a golden hue over the scene, but its warmth did not seem to touch the icy demeanor of the northern prince.
Bakugo, on the other hand, was the antithesis of composure. Sweat poured down his face, muscles tensed in exertion, and his breath came in ragged gasps. He looked up at Iluliaq, his eyes burning with a mixture of frustration and determination.
"You damn bastard." Bakugo seethed through through gritted teeth, his voice tinged with exhaustion but no less venomous for it, as he is propped up on his knees, his breath heaving from exertion and anger
Iluliaq's lips barely twitched, an almost imperceptible sign of his disdain. "You are the one that wanted to train with me." He said, his voice as cold and unforgiving as the arctic winds. "I told you that you couldn't keep up."
"Shut up!" Bakugo roared, pushing himself up from his knees. His hands ignited with his quirk's explosive power, a stark contrast to Iluliaq's calm. "Another round!"
Iluliaq merely nodded, a silent acceptance of the challenge. As Bakugo charged, the air around them filled with the sound of his angry screams and the faint hissing of ignited sweat.
The fight began with Bakugo lunging forward, explosions erupting from his fists in a frenzied attempt to land a hit on the elusive waterbender. Iluliaq, however, moved with a fluid grace, his motions a mesmerizing dance as he summoned the ocean beside them to his command. Water rose and fell with each gesture, forming whips and shields with an effortless elegance that belied their deadly force.
"Stand still, you ice-cold freak!" Bakugo yelled, his voice hoarse but fierce as he unleashed another barrage of explosions,
"I'm not done with you yet!" Bakugo roared, detonating another explosive burst aimed at Iluliaq's head. Though Iluliaq simply twisted away, his form blurring as he moved with the water's flow.
Iluliaq, twirling with the rhythm of the tides, simply responded with a monotone. "Screaming won't help you win." The water around him seemed to be an extension of his will, reacting to his every command with precision.
"That's it! I'm done playing around!" Bakugo shouted, amping up the intensity of his explosions.
"Why don't you try using those fancy moves to actually hit me?" Bakugo challenged, a manic grin on his face despite the clear disadvantage.
"Attacking someone who cannot defend themselves properly would be dishonorable." Iluliaq responded coolly, deflecting another explosive with a swift motion of his hand. "You should know, I do not waste my energy on unworthy fights."
"You think you're better than me?!" Bakugo's voice cracked with the strain of his efforts, his energy starting to wane against the relentless tide.
Iluliaq didn't bother hiding the boredom in his tone. "I don't think. I know."
Bakugo's response was a guttural shout, filled with all the rage and frustration he felt. His movements became more desperate, his explosions more erratic, but still, he couldn't breach Iluliaq's watery defenses.
"Your insults are as ineffective as your attacks." He replied. "Try harder."
Bakugo snarled, the sound lost amidst the detonations that erupted from his palms. "I'll wipe that bored look off your face!"
