( ♡Hi guys, This was a really fun chapter to write. Tons of drama and I love how the plots thickening lol! I hope you guys enjoy it. There's a lot of characters in this one, one of the funnest chapters to write yet.♡)
The snow falls from the sky, and the layers of clothing aren't even enough to keep me warm.I've dreaded this weekend this entire week.My eyes scan the exterior of the fancy brown cabin, tucked away in the woods. The snow covers its roof, and as much as I hate to admit it..It is a beautiful cabin.
"You like it?" Jacob raises his eyebrow, while he puts the car in park.
"It's nice." I sigh with a hint of annoyance in my voice.
"I get it. You don't want to be here. But just give this weekend a chance and stop moping around and acting like you're being held hostage." Jacob exhales in frustration.
"It feels like I am." I say under my breath, and roll my eyes.
"Looks like Timothée is already here, and so is Elle." He nudges his head towards the cars parked to the right of the cabin. There's a few more cars that are parked right next to Timothée's,who are probably Jacobs friends.
"Thank god."
"Amelia. I think you'll slowly realize, I'm just trying to you have you consider all your options. There's more out there than just Timothée" Jacob places his hand on my thigh, with a small smile forming on his lips.
I snap my eyes up to his hand on my thigh and then back to him, before rolling my eyes at him again.
Jacob opens the cabin door and my eyes almost automatically search for Timothée, who is scrolling on his phone next to Elle.
When he hears us walking in, his eyes dart to mine, and I smile at him softly.
"You guys MADE IT!" an annoying voice snaps me out of the moment. Julia stands in front of me.Her curly brown hair bouncing, as she pulls me in for a hug.
"I am so happy oh my god, this is going to be like, the best weekend ever!" she squeals in my ear.
I look over her shoulder to Timothée,who is smirking and looking slightly amused by my aggravation. She lets go and walks to the next room, where I hear more voices.
I direct my vision to Jacob "You invited Julia?" I say lowly,as I squint at him,not even trying to hide the irritation in my voice.
"Isn't she on the cheer team with you? I thought you guys were friends." Jacob scratches his face in confusion.
Julia wants to hook up with Timothée. Of course Jacob invited her. I want to smack the fake confusion off his face.I angrily make my way over to the room that Julia went to, and I see all of Jacob's friends. Most of them brought their girlfriends. Then I hear a laugh that I recognize.
"Jessica?" I see her big brown eyes catch my gaze.
"Don't be mad. I just..I miss you. Jacob invited me and I figured this way you'd be forced to be around me. You've avoided me for so long. I didn't know what else to do." She says, her voice almost desperate.
Looking at her sad face, I can tell she really has missed me and I feel like a horrible friend to have cut her out of my life for sleeping with Timothée, when she has no clue about Timothee and I anyways.
"I'm not mad anymore. I'm-I'm sorry that I disappeared on you. It was just a lot, you know? I was kind of shocked." I press my lips together.
"I understand..I really do. I should have told you sooner. I hope we can talk more this weekend and I can talk to you about things.." She looks at me pleadingly.
