In a blink of an eye, it's already nighttime. Timothée zips me up in a baby pink dress that hugs me body perfectly.
"She wasn't lying about that dress." Timothée says as he rests his head on my shoulder, looking at both of our reflections in the long bedroom mirror. "It looks like it was made for you." His eyes look hungrily at our reflection, his eyes glued on to me.
"You like it?" I tease, knowing just by the look in his eyes that this dress is making him wild.
"Do I like it?" Timothée asks playfully. "I want to do things to you while you're wearing this." He pulls me close, placing a kiss on the nape of my neck and making me shiver.
"Well..I want to do things to do you in that suit too Mr.Chalamet." My voice grows breathy as he continues to pepper kisses along my neck.
"Slow down." I say with a giggle, pushing him back gently with my elbow, a goofy smile on my face. "No hickies tonight. We want to keep it classy."
Timothée chuckles, "Since when were you and I classy?" He asks with a grin.
"We don't want to outshine Elle at her own party, do we? I can't be walking around with evidence of just how passionate of a lover you are." I roll my eyes at him, scoffing.
"But I would love to walk in holding your hand, with you covered in hickies, so it's clear to everyone that you're mine." Timothée eyes sparkle at the thought and heat starts to rise inside me when I imagine that.
My smile fades and the feeling of anxiety settles in. I know that walking into the party tonight with Timothée will make us the center of attention, and I can already feel the countless stares on us.
"Are you nervous for tonight?" Timothée asks me gently. "I know you've never been fond of big social gatherings."
"Yeah, I'm nervous." I admit, fidgeting with the bracelet on my wrist. "I've been wanting to ask you.." I say as Timothée watches me, his expression curious. "Are we going to this party..together?"I continue, and he furrows his brows in confusion.
"What I mean is..we've been pretty obvious about being a couple by how we act towards each other. But is tonight going to be our first 'official' debut as a couple?' I speak quickly,my nerves evident and Timothée's expression turns serious.
"Do you want it to be our first official outing?" He asks as he looks deeply in my eyes, his face sincere.
"Yes." I give a firm nod, certain of my decision. "I have nothing to hide anymore."
Timothée smiles softly and leans in, placing a gentle kiss on my shoulder. "Okay." He whispers, his lips lingering on my skin. He pulls back and his eyes meet mine once more as he tangles his fingers in my hair. "You're my everything, Mia. You always have been." Timothée proclaims.
My gaze never leaves his and my lips curl into a smile. "You're my sunset." I say as I stare into his green orbs.
"What?" He asks me, with an eager grin on his face.
"I think I want you to read the paper I wrote about you when I was in college when we get back home." I share genuinely, longing for him to understand the true depth of my emotions for him.
