The past
Third P.O.V.

Conan and Hearvy were both anxious as it had been two days now since their little brother had run away. They paused as their parents were approaching them. "Ah, Conan? What are we gonna tell them? Dad's going to kill us when he finds out!" Conan was fighting to keep his cool. Then Murray ran over to them. "Kids!" She said cheerfully as she dropped prey in front of them. "Where's Nolan?" Ripple suddenly asked as he was already checking the den and seemed Disappointed that he wasn't there. "I've got an interesting story to tell him!" He paused. "Not that you'd be interested..." He muttered. They were both quiet as they gazed anxiously at each other. Now Murray looked worried. "Conan? Where is he?" She asked. "Well, uhh you see..." Ripple padded over to stand in front of them. "I know a look of guilt when I see one! What did you do?" He asked and then Hearvy got scared and spat it out. "We had a fight and then he ran away!.... He's been gone for two days." He finished. "WHAT?!" Ripple shouted in outrage while Murray looked scared. "Oh no! My little Nolan is out there all alone?!" She exclaimed.
Ripple smacked Hearvy and Conan both right across the face. They both gave a yelp of pain. "Ripple! You can't hit them like that!" She yelled.
"MURRAY! THESE TWO IDIOTS GOT HIM KILLED!!" He screamed and then turned on Conan. "CONAN!! You are the oldest! You were supposed to look after him not chase him away!" they both cowered away in fear. "We're sorry!! We didn't think he would run away!" Hearvy yelled. "Well, go look for him! I'm ashamed of both of you! How could you let this happen? He's your brother for crying out loud!" Ripple shouted. "Ugh! I've had it with you two! You don't care about the tribe and then you bully my one son who dose! What's wrong with you?!" He hissed before turning on them. "Murray, I'm going out there to find him!" She nodded and stayed with them while their father left. Murray looked deeply upset. "Conan... Hearvy, I don't understand why? Why would you let him run away like this? Don't you know how he's in real danger out there?" She asked. They were both quiet. Conan let out a sigh. "We thought he would come back.... We didn't mean for him to run away..." He broke down crying. "Mom, we really are sorry!" Hearvy whimpered. "Is he really dead? Did we kill him?" Murray was quiet. "I hope not."

Two days later

Nolan made his way to the beach feeling weak and hungry he hadn't realized just how hard it was to fend for himself. "Mom?... Dad?" He called out. He felt sad as he got no answer. He sat by the shore and waited. A few hours go by and he passes out in the sand. Ripple finally emerged out of the water and let out a shocked gasp when he noticed Nolan lying unconscious in the sand. "Nolan!" He ran over to him. "I've got you!" Murray started running over to him. "Oh, no! My baby!" She cried out. Ripple picked him up. "Murray go get him something to eat! He's starving!" She nodded and ran back to the water. Ripple picked him up and started padding into the forest taking him to where there was clean drinking water. He dropped him near the river then Murray finally caught up to him and put down a few fish Pokemon. She quickly splashed some water on him and he groggily opened his eyes. "Nolan!" She hugged him. "You had us both worried sick about you! We thought we lost you!" Ripple noticed there was a scar on his left ear. "Nolan, what happened?" He asked. The Eevee drank some water frsit then answered. "Conan did this to me..." He muttered miserably. Ripple looked shocked and then gritted his teeth together. "Conan.." He hissed. Murray looked sad. " That's awful. But I talked to both of them, Nolan, they're both very sorry they made you run away. We need you to come back home." Nolan shook his head. "No, Mom I can't stand to live with them anymore! They hate me!" Murray was about to argue but Ripple stoped her. "Ah, Murray do we really want Nolan to get bullied again? I think this might be for the best." Then Ripple turns a sharp glare on him. "Nolan, you should have come to us sooner. Are you trying to kill yourself? We both thought you were dead!" He hung his head miserable. "I'm sorry Dad, I thought I could take care of myself... but I guess I can't." Ripple hugged him. "I'm just glad you're ok... you really had us scared. We couldn't even sleep at night." Murray frowned. "Ripple, he has to return to his brothers! He can't take care of himself!" He turned on her. "Are you blind Murray? Look what they did to him! We almost lost him and it's their fault!" He hissed.
"They didn't mean for him to run away Ripple! They were very upset! They really are sorry." Ripple padded over and then spotted a hollow. "Nolan, you can stay in this hollow, you'll be safe here and when you're hungry come find us at the shore. And if not then we'll come to you."
He got happy. "Thanks, Dad!" he ran over and hugged Ripple. Murray rolled her eyes. "This isn't right but whatever. I'm gonna go check on the other two." She padded away and Ripple sat down with Nolan and began sharing more storeis with him.
