Murray's P.O.V.

I was sleeping in my bed when I was suddenly awoken by a loud sound.
-Bang! Bang!
I groggily looked at my alarm clock to see it was 4:00 am and instantly got a bad feeling. Who could possibly be banging on my door at this hour?
BANG! BANG!
I let out a terrified shriek as the banging got louder. I sat in my bed for a few moments trying to summon up the courage to peek out the window to see who it was. The noise stopped and all I could hear was the pouring rain outside and the throbbing in my chest. I tried to think of who it could be then remembered that Hearvy was sleeping on the couch and maybe he had gone out and accidentally locked himself outside. I shakily got out of bed but then I heard a different noise coming from my bedroom window.
TAP-TAP-
It was the sound was claws tapping on glass when I looked I could see a Mon watching me through the window. I froze I didn't know what to do all I could do was stare back at them until they taped on it again. "Come on Murray let me in!" I froze in shock. "Ripple?" Was it good that my ex-mate was here or bad? Should I trust him?
I slowly went for the front door and so did he. As I walked past the couch I noticed that Hearvy wasn't there either. He must have left. I thought to myself as I opened the door just a crack. "What do you want?" I hissed. "Let me inside Murray I need to talk to you." I shook my head not fully trusting him. "Do you have any idea how late it is?" He tried to froce his way in but the safety chain stoped him. He paused giving me a pleading look. "Babe, open the door.." I shook my head. "No, you're acting crazy! It's the middle of the night what do you want?!" Sadness sparked his gaze. "I can't believe you actually think that! I'd never hurt you, Murray! Please let me in!" He begged. I let out a sigh holding his desperate stare. "I know you're only here to cause trouble." He revealed some followers through the doorcrack. "Those are lilies, I remembered your favourite flower." I felt a little hopeful now perhaps he was ready to become a better father. I took the safety chain off and let him in. He was soaking wet from the rain. "Come on have a seat." I offered. He looked excited and tried to kiss me but I stopped him. "I wanna hear what you have to say first." He let out a sigh. "What are we doing Murray?" I raised an eyebrow. "I told you already why I left." He grabbed my paw and looked me in the eye. "I still love you Murray and I know you still feel the same way about me." I stared back at him. "I did but you really hurt me... first you made me stay with the tribe so I couldn't see my kids and now every time you see them you act horrible to them and it's just sickening to see." He frowned. "I took you for granted Murray, I can see that now. I'm sorry." He apologized. I smiled I never thought he'd turn around and apologize does this mean he's willing to be a better Father? Would he do that for me? I gave him a hug. "Oh, Ripple! I never thought I'd hear you say that!" He let out a soft purr and began stroking my back. "You have no idea how much I missed you!" He said then suddenly pushed me down on the couch and pressed his lips against mine. I closed my eyes enjoying it while it lasted and then he paused. "My sweet Murray." He breathed out softly. He started running his paws along my body and continued to make out with me. Suddenly the front door opened and to my horror, Hearvy walked in. "Hey, I went out for a walk because I couldn't sleep—" He froze in shock once he spotted us on the couch. "WHAT THE FUCK?!" The Leafeon exclaimed and Ripple sat up abruptly shooting him with a hostile glare. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" He shouted angrily getting off the couch. "What am I doing here?! You're the one whos not supposed to be here!" Hearvy retorted his creamy fur beginning to bristle. I watched in shock as Ripple continued to shout. "GET OUT!!" Hearvy stared at us both in shock and then started to gage. "I think I'm gonna be sick!"
"I SAID LEAVE!!!" Ripple repeated looking more aggressive this time. I felt my heart breaking all over again the way he was yelling at his own son without a care in the world like he meant nothing to him. "That's enough Ripple!" My voice cracked as my eyes were full of tears now. "Just get out! We're through!" He froze. "No, Murray don't say that! I need you!" I shook my head I couldn't control my sobbing this was too painful to watch. How could the Mon I fell in love with turn out to be so cruel? "Don't do this to me, Murray! I know you still love me!" He ran over to the living room table and picked up the picture of both of us together. "This is proof right here! Come home with me!" He begged then Hearvy growled. "Are you def? She said get out!" At that very second Ripple whipped around to face him letting out a vicious snarl. "THIS IS ALL YOUR FUALT!!!" He roared then to my shock he lunged toword him. "NO DON'T HURT HIM!!" I screamed as they collided with each other and rolled across the floor. Hearvy let out an enraged cry. "I HATE YOU!! I WISH YOU WEREN'T MY FATHER!" I used a Hydro pump hitting both of them in an attempt to get them to stop and it worked. They were both sitting on the floor breathing hard. My chest felt heavy seeing they both had minor cuts and scratches on them. Ripple rubbed a paw on his face to see some blood. "Oh, now you did it." He muttered as he got back up. Hearvy was still glaring at him. "You started it! I'm not afraid of you anymore Ripple! I'll always fight back." He growled standing defensively as if he expected his father to attack again. I started weaping I could see how much they hated each other and it hurt.
We're supposed to be a family! Not rivails!
They both frowned turning towords me. "Mother?" Ripple gave him a warning look before speaking. "Murray, I'm sorry I don't know what came over me," I growled as he tried to approach me. "No, your not! If you were really sorry you'd be Apologizing to your son right now not me!" He hung his head miserably. "Murray, please I promise I'll be a better mate!" I hissed. "I want you to be a better father Ripple!"
"I was a good father they're the ones who rejected me!" Then he faced Hearvy again growling. "You know very well I can't leave the tribe! But you chose to listen to your idiot brother!"
"Conan isn't an idiot!" Ripple let out a sigh giving me a sad look. "So that's it then? You want me to leave??" I nodded but he still didn't move. "I know Nolan was here Murray, he told me." I stared at him anxiously. "You got away with it the first time but don't count on it the next time!" He moved closer to me. "I'm gonna make you regret this Murray! Just watch me!" I frowned. "Why? Why can't you just leave me alone?" I whimpered. His facial expression softened as he grabbed my paw. "The answer is simple my love. Come home to me and I promise I'll take better care of you." I pulled my paw away. "Stay away from me!" Now he looked upset. "So be it then!" He pushed past Hearvy and slammed the door shut behind him. Hearvy gave me a hug right away looking deeply concerned. "You're alright, everything is going to be ok! Conan and I will keep you safe I promise!" He walked me back to my room and as I got in bed I couldn't help feeling sad. I closed my eyes but I couldn't go back to sleep after that experience.
I'm so stupid for letting him in! I'm never gonna fall for that again!
