hello summer

It was now officially summer break. Me, Mel, Isa, Adrian, Ale, and Ale's boyfriend are all going to the lake. Mel was already at my house ready with her bag. "Omg im so excited!!" She yelled. "Me too haha" I said. Adrian was picking us up in his car and he barely got to my house. "He's here mel lets go." I told her. We walked out and got inside the car. "Hey you guys," Adrian said. "Hi." I replied. "Hi Isa and Adrian!" Mel said. "Have you guys not picked up Ale and her boyfriend? She  lives closer to you Isa?" I asked. "No she is going in his truck." Isa replied. We drove to the lake and it took 30 minutes to get there. "Finally." I thought. We got out and sat down at this bench table. "Its so fucking hot." I told Adrian. "You dont like the heat huh?" He replied. "Can you tell?" I asked. "Yep you look everything pisses you off in the summer haha" He told me and walked off. "Lex come on lets go inside the lake!!" Mel yelled and dragged me. She took off her shirt and shorts revealing her bikini. "Come on!!" She yelled. I took off my shirt since I had a sports bra on, and I kept my jorts on. I dont like bikinis or anything like that. I went inside and stayed with Mel.

We swam to this little spot in the lake under a rock. "This looks nice to be honest." I told her. "It does!" She said. "Amor your bra to your bikini is falling off." I told her. "Oh shit can you fix it!" She replied. I grabbed the string to it and tied it back together. "There you go." I said. She hugged me and ran her hands through my hair. I hugged her back and picked her up. "Omg I thought I was levitating!" Mel yelled. "What omg!" I yelled back and started laughing. She looked so pretty. I gave her a kiss on the forehead, and we swam back to the others. "Are you guys hungry? I made sandwiches!" Ale yelled. "Omg Im hungry!!" I yelled. Ale made good food, im surprised she isnt in any culinary classes at school. Me and Mel got out the water and I dried my hair off. "Woah lex I didnt know you had curly hair? Ive only seen it like wavy before?" Ale said. "Oh yea haha I cut it shorter." I replied. I cut it shorter because my hair was getting longer again, so my curls started showing more as well. "It looks nice!" Isa told me. "Thank you" I told her. Mel got sandwiches for me and her, and we started eating. "This is so good omfg." I told Mel. "I know right!" She replied.

It was now the end of the day, and Adrian drove me and Mel home. We stopped at Mel's house and I got off to walk to my house. "You dont want me to drive you to your house Alexa?" He asked. "Nah im good imma walk from here, thank you though." I replied as he drove off. I walked up to the door with Mel, and I hugged her. "I'll see you later Mel." I said. "See you later Lex.." She replied and kissed me. I kissed her back and we continued for a few minutes. "Okay I have to go baby," I told her. "Okayy bye babe!" She said and I walked away. When I got home, I heard yelling from inside. I ran to the door and opened it quickly. "Apa?!" I yelled. He was on call with someone yelling. "Mira Marisol de verdad ya no me ablas!" He yelled. He was yelling at my mom. "Fuck." I thought. He hung up and walked towards me. "Apa what happened." I told him. "Mija your mom keeps calling me. She is drunk and keep calling me. Se te abla no contestas." He said. "Okay.." I replied. He hugged me and told me to go upstairs. I was having so much fun and then here she goes, fucking everything up. I can leave and run away from her, but she will always be there. Ruining my life like always. I heard my dad from downstairs calling other people. Probably my tio and my tia to let them know what was happening or something. I hope my mom wouldnt call me either. I have to have her number obviously, shes my mom at the end of the day, but she never acted like it. She never felt like a mom. And my sister? A fucking brat who thinks about nobody but herself. I hope she doesnt call me either. Both of them haunt me everyday. "Marisol te voy a bloquear!" I heard my dad yelling from downstairs. Whyd he keep answering the calls? I walked downstairs and grabbed his phone. "Ay Alexa give me my phone!" He yelled. I put my mom on mute for a day. "There. You wont get any of her calls apa. I didnt block her." I told him. "How you do that?" He asked. "Next time she calls you non stop, just press this on your phone or call me." I replied. "Gracias mija. Ya me estaba cansando de ella." He told me. I nodded my head and went back up to my room. Why did she have to be such a pain in the fucking ass?
