"Let me patch you up mija" you groan as Rey helps you backstage after your match to his locker room, he wasn't in any better shape than you were. He had a huge bruise starting to form on his back along with a cut on his head and his knuckles split open while you had a black and purple bruise on your hip just below your rib, a nose bleed, and a cut just above your eye that was bleeding badly, "Sorry!" he winces when you put ice on his back before he wipes your nose carefully stuffing a cotton ball in to stop the bleeding before you clean and wrap his knuckles followed by the cut above your eye being cleaned out and covered with a bandaid and you doing the same with his cut feeling yourself grow nervous and warmth flow through you at the proximity between the two of you while patching the other up. You change in the bathroom while rey changes in the locker room talking to Billy Kidman before he says hi to you and leaves, you go to leave the room when rey stops you "Wait not yet" you are confused when he closes the door but then a bit alarmed when he locks it backing away as your heart pounds nonstop feeling your breath get stuck in your throat by him moving toward you until he gently grabs your wrists with your back against the lockers "Fuck it" the words alarm you but the action after leaves you feeling like putty when he surges forward in a quick kiss before pulling away to hold you "I've been in love with you for so long and there have been many times where i wanted to tell or show you over these last couple of months and this whole year" you feel a smile form on your face by the confession before reaching your hand and grabbing his hand on your shoulder, you kiss his palm which makes his heart flutter before your surprising him by switching spots with him now against the lockers leaving you both laughing before holding his face and kissing him softly which leaves both of you breathless as you catch your breaths before going back into a tender gentle kiss feeling a chill go through your body at him moving his hands up your back. "Tomorrow come to my place with me" you smile grabbing your bag not before sharing one last kiss feeling like you would burst as you walk to the parking lot squealing and giggling with joy leaving your friends who watch the scene laughing before you turn around and head back in as rey is talking with Eddie "Hey rey" he turns smiling when he sees you before you kiss his cheek "Not only that i forgot something else, i love you too rey" you turn around and jog back out laughing in joy as you open and get in your car leaving rey a blushing and smiling mess "Hey my man finally told her huh yea buen trabajo hombre!" he laughs high fiving eddie before walking out to his car texting you at a stop light making you melt more by it "Te amo mucho mi corazon good night and don't forget to wear the yellow dress when we head back to my place" you squeal jumping up and down after reading the text smiling when you realize the dress he was talking about, it was your sunflower dress that you wore not only when the two of you met but also when you both realized you were in love with each other.
