AFFECTED

Let the anger subside,
Watch beyond your internal divide.
Calm down and breathe in silence,
It's only destruction ahead of even mental violence.

In it, eyes won't watch any blood,
Bitter those tears, you'll drown in a flood.
Among audibles you'll hear only the internal noise,
Cause what you feel isn't reflected, least understood, in your voice.

Where the entire room could breathe air,
You suffer from vacuumed lungs, it's not fair.
When the crowd suffocate in happiness,
And you're hollow within to see through your loneliness.

In the mirth of genuine enjoyment,
You smile among all, yet aloof, as the only amendment.
You're broken and lost and are still collected,
You are just moving on and on, but with everything you are still affected.
