It's time for the graduation of Edward, Alice, Jasper, and Bella. Athena is sat near the back with Carlisle and Esme since Rosalie and Emmett decided to stay at home. Right now, the valedictorian is giving her speech. Jessica Stanley isn't Athena's favorite person, but she is smart, and she is the right person for this title.

"When we were five, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up.  Our answers were things like astronaut, president... Or in my case, princess. When we were ten, they asked again and we answered -- rock star, cowboy, or in my case, gold medalist. But now that we're all town up, they want a serious answer. Well, how 'bout this: who the hell knows?! This isn't the time to make hard and fast decisions, it's time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train, and get stuck somewhere chill. Fall in love -- a lot. Major in philosophy because there's no way to make a career out of that. Change your mind. Then change it again, because nothing is permanent. So make as many mistakes as you can. That way, someday, when they ask again what we want to be... we won't have to guess. We'll know."

"Jessica wasn't my favorite person, but she was the girl for the title," Athena says as she enters the house with Carlisle and Esme later. "That speech was beautiful."

"It was really good," Esme agrees.

"I better go shower and get ready for this party before Alice comes home and throws a tantrum," Athena muses.

"Wise choice," Esme responds with equal amusement.

Athena smiles at Esme before climbing the stairs and once she reaches her solo bedroom, she takes off all of her clothes and goes to her bathroom.
