(This is where Twilight begins as if it were the movie was focused on the Cullens, not Bella. This movie will be hard for me to write because of Edward, Athena, & Bella!)
Athena's favorite part of her gift is the eye thing.

What is the eye thing? Her eyes can shift from gold to their natural color of green. Athena is still getting used to her said-ability but she still enjoys it. She doesn't stick out as much as the others of her coven do because she allows her eyes to shift to green while they are at school.

That is one thing she does not understand: high school, multiple times. Athena is currently standing inside their home here in Forks, Washington, looking at the graduation caps from all over. She is a senior currently in the local high school alongside Emmett Joseph Cullen and Rosalie Lillian Hale.

Athena smiles as arms wrap around her. "Hello, my darling Edward," she murmurs.

Edward smiles as he holds her. "My Athena," he utters. "Emmett and Jasper are about to fight. Do you wish to watch?"

"Watch Emmett lose again, you mean?"

"I won't lose!" Emmett cries from outside.

Athena and Edward share an all-knowing look before they walk downstairs. Alice Cullen, the clairvoyant vampire of the coven, looks at them with a look of sadness that the couple does not notice as they focus on the match, but Carlisle Cullen does notice it and he grows concerned.

Alice saw a vision of a new girl starting Forks High School tomorrow as a junior. She is the Chief of Police's daughter. Carlisle wonders what's making Alice so sad about the human's start here.

"I have ten bucks on Emmett," Rosalie says as she vamps over to Athena and Edward.

"I'll take twenty for Jasper," Athena muses. Her vocabulary has changed since her turn two-thousand years ago. She has, as Sulpicia - Aro's mate / wife - calls it, evolved as the world changed. She is aware of Jasper's past with newborns and Maria, so she is confident that he will win and she will earn twenty more bucks to her already steady bank account.

Carlisle walks over to Alice and she shakes her head when he goes to ask her if she's okay. She mouths that she'll come by the hospital after school tomorrow and explain the vision in depth to him and he nods. They turn back to the fight right as Jasper knocks Emmett flat on his back and wins the fight.

Rosalie rolls her eyes and she gives Athena twenty dollars.

"You forget about Jasper's past," Athena muses and she walks over to Jasper. "Thank you. You just earned me twenty dollars."

"You're welcome, ma'am," Jasper muses. "You used my past to your advantage, didn't you?"

The vampire smirks and she walks over to Edward. "Let's go inside. I want you to play me some Beethoven."

Edward smiles. "Right sway, my Athena."

Carlisle can't wait. He pulls Alice into the woods and they go near the Canadian border.

"Tell me what's wrong, Alice," Carlisle says as Jasper joins them, worried about Alice. He felt her sadness earlier.

"Edward and Athena will break-up soon," Alice says.

Carlisle's eyes widen. "What?! Why?"

"The new girl," Alice says. "She's his mate. Edward falls in love with her, and out of love with Athena, and it's breaking my heart because I don't want to say anything because I am still hoping that it will change."

"How long ago did you have this vision, Darlin'?" Jasper asks his wife. "How long have you been holding this in?"

"Weeks," Alice replies. "I saw it when I saw the new girl coming."

"That's why you avoid being in the same room as Edward and Athena," Carlisle concludes. "Alice! Why did you torture yourself like this?"

"I didn't want to burden anyone with blocking their brains from Edward," Alice says. "I'd be fine."

Carlisle places a gentle hand on Alice's shoulder. "Don't hide visions like this from me again, okay?" he speaks so softly. He runs this coven because Athena didn't want to rule. "Not if your mental health is at stake. I won't have you risking your health."

"He's right," Jasper says before Alice can protest. "You're important, too."

Alice deflates. "I won't keep big visions a secret anymore," she says, "I promise."

They go back to the house. They hear the classical music being played in the piano before they enter the house. Alice stares at Athena, who has her head on Edward's shoulder, her eyes currently watery because of the tune he's playing. It's one that Edward wrote for her. It's a lullaby he wrote for her in 1945. She smiles at them but then she remembers her vision and she walks away, Jasper goes after her.

"Is Alice alright?" Esme Cullen asks her husband.

Carlisle sighs. "I hope so," he replies and she nods.

They watch Edward play with tender smiles.
