Athena walks downstairs on the morning of September 13th, a few months later, in her pajamas and she sees Esme decorating. Alice is throwing Bella a party tonight; it's her eighteenth birthday today.
"Alice is coming home at lunch to help," Esme says to Athena once she sees her.
"Okay," Athena replies. "I was nineteen when I became this. I begged Caius to turn me, to kill my wolf. It..." She frowns, sighing. "It really was a curse, Esme."
Esme walks over and she grabs her hands. "You're still around, two-thousand years later," she coos. "Wha5 did you name your child?"
"Rhesus," Athena replies. "I named him as I buried him once I woke. His name was Rhesus."
"Such a beautiful name," Esme coos and Athena smiles adoringly.

Bella is surprised when she's hugged by Athena after Carlisle.
"Happy birthday," Athena says to the human.
Bella blushes a little. "Thanks," she replies softly. "The village where you're from, Athena, where would it be now?"
"Corfu, Greece is where my village once was," Athena replies.
Alice decides to move on to the presents after taking a picture of Edward and Bella. Bella's gift from Athena is a classic novel written in the 1800's.
"It's Greek, but..."
"I can translate it," Bella says. "Thank you, Athena."
Athena smiles and she nudges Emmett. "I did a good job," she says and Emmett rolls his eyes, he got Bella a new radio for her truck.
When Bella is handed Esme and Carlisle's gift, she gets a paper cut as she opens it and all hell breaks loose as Jasper feels everyone's bloodlust at once and he goes to attack Bella. Emmett, Rosalie, and Athena drag the empath outside while Carlisle stitches up Bella.
