With a droopy eye lifting into a dark abyss of what felt to be soft goo. She couldn't see anything in her world. Her body laid unmoving, a corpse of her own now as the assuming fate of death was clear. She was dead now, although a very moist death. It felt like a wet slimey sleeping bag and the feeling was enough to make her shudder to herself. This was able to make her move finally on her own accord.
Awake now, she felt her body moving, almost robotic. Her hands grasp above trying to push up against the rotting texture of a plant coffin. A hard press did it for her opening up. Dappled sunlight came through into her tires eyes making her groan and turn her head away for a moment. Sunlight drenched her eyes before she squinted looking up again at the crevice. She laced her fingers around either side of the hole before pushing it apart making it open with the sound of a ripped leaf.
Her body ached as her arms landed on her sides again not finding the energy to leave what now seemed to be some sort of oversized cocoon. Her body didn't want to move anymore then it already has after so long. However long it was. She couldn't remember what was so long ago but she had a grasp on the world. A young adult woman's mind on things, but no distinct memories to call her own to cherish in a moment like this just knowledge.
She gasped trying to sit up, feeling a pain in her stomach of itself caving in on herself and the sound of the crinkle of her tattered dress echoing to her ears. Although looking down she couldn't see any malnutrition besides her paleness showing some of her blue veins on her hands faintly and red marks being left from when she rubbed her thighs on the top of the cocoon to gain some extra strength to pry it open. She felt at her skin or at least what she thought was her skin. It felt of clay, it had a stretchy texture of skin but still just soft clay.
Reaching even further she felt more than just plastic but a felty texture. She poked her head over knees realizing she had no feet. Replaced by small bunny paws with fur that run up to her ball-jointed knees.
'What am I?' She murmured to herself with an innocent curiosity growing that soon graduated to slight fear. She reached grabbing her felted bunny ears that were flopped to the side of her head and running over her shoulders. She breathed heavily, feeling panic coming through as her now awakeness brought every sound of the woods to life. She huffed herself up as she slipped a few times clumsily in the wet cocoon trying to stand up on the dirt beside her.
She huffed softly as she looked around her feeling the air blow on her back making her shiver. She reached behind her feeling something. It felt shaped like a winding key, just the twisted side.
"Was that always there?" She whispered softly to herself. If she was laying on her back for so long it would have felt uncomfortable to have something like that on her back yet here it was on her.
She shivered again at the wind, taking her hands away from her back to hug herself and rub her upper arms for warmth. She looked up at the dappled sunlight. She would just have to find her way then. She pursed her lips as she started walking to where the sunlight was going on the dirt trail. The trail was long, but she didn't know how long the forest was. Did civilization exist in a world like this? She knew it existed or at the very least was a word. And with that, were others that looked like her that were confused as well.
She pulled on her ears for support, feeling the ground dirty up the fur on her paws as she kept walking endlessly. She hasn't moved in so long, her body felt sore. But, if her body really was artificial how was she feeling all of this pain in her body, what was beneath her? She picked up a stone on the ground with a pointy end and leaned down crouching. She took the pointy end of the rock and was gonna try jabbing herself somewhere before she heard the sound of growling. She perked up surprised as she felt uneasiness surrounding her suddenly. She slowly stood up and turned around, seeing eyes in the forest. Wolves.
She eased back trying to calm herself so they couldn't sense her fear, although it was blatant beside her efforts. She took a few steps back and was too scared to utter a word as she felt them creep forward as she tried to softly go. Their growls grew louder with added snarls to the mix making her tense up further. Her breath quickened as she zapped back, turning her back to them and booking it through the trail in the woods.
Her breath felt skinnier as she ran for all she could know the first time in her life. The trees grew in on her and the dappled sunlight faded as she kept running and running. She could hear the sounds of her paws and then multiple other pairs behind her of a wolf pack. The trees lead their way, the branches grew hands and the holes in the bark grew eyes. The forest morphed around her to her fitting emotions only mocking her.
The hands led the way further and further as the tree branches rapidly grew. The snarls grew louder behind her only the trees blocking her view of them but, not hers of the wolves. Running on pure adrenaline and just for a moment as she swore she could hear the wolf about to snap their jaw onto her clay flesh and the felted fur addressing her skin. She hastily turned around then only to her surprise was greeted with something else. A giant, hairy, black ram. She breathed out heavily holding onto her knees.
Just for a few minutes she stared at the giant, the ram standing six feet on all fours but counting horns to be eight feet. She gasped a breath of air before standing up straight again.
She stepped a bit closer anxiously.
"W-who are you?" She stuttered with a nervous fascination. She stood in front of the beast reaching out her hand to pet the hair which felt clumped and knotted, a tattered feeling.
She held her thumb on the ram's forehead and leaned down to kiss the ram's forehead before she felt a bump making her step back seeing the face get distorted from the inside before the ram dislocated its jaw and horrifically out came a fresh adult albino deer. It struggled for a moment before half of its body came out revealing a set of small feathery wings alongside its back. The albino deer landed on the ground gracefully as the ram's body landed on the ground now having no insides, looking like a sac bag before it sank in the ground moisturizing the dirt and becoming one. The deer looked at the bunny's now mortified eyes before they puked in front of her. She breathed heavily while keeping her hands on her knees before looking up at the deer again confused.
The deer's gaze was ethereal and powerful. It leaned its snout down at her before a calm feminine-like voice boomed from the forest above.
"Kisses" The deer simply said before suddenly transforming into roots upon roots creating a wall between newly named Kisses and where they were running from in the forest.
