Surprises 1

Lyra's P.O.V

I'm surprised Kanan didn't blast Beway's head off when he first laid eyes on him. He would have if I hadn't stepped in front of him or pointed at Vader.

We run as fast as we can, away from Vader and then troopers blasts chasing us as we run. I use the force in all the commotion to get me and Steel's lightsabers. Steel's lightsaber is a blue and grey handle with a blue blade.

We all turn and run Kanan catching up to me. I run my feet pounding the floor. I feel Vader trying to shove his way into my head but force him out. Kanan runs up to my side. I stumbled a bit but Kanan doesn't seem to notice.

"Why the hell did you not tell us you were leaving and what happened?!" He asks me angrily. I shake my head and look at him.

"Because I can take care of my self also he threatened to kill them If I brought anyone with me." I tell him as we run. I slow down next to Steel and hand him his lightsaber. He takes it and looks at me with a smile.

"Thanks." Is all he says and I smile at him brightly.

"Yep don't mention it." I say as we round the corner to the ship field only to stop in our tracks. When we look in front of us there's troopers and Ash there when we look be hind us there's troopers and Vader there. We look around. I look at everyone.

Steel stands in a crouch his lightsaber in front of him so if need be he can turn it on and face any enemy. His eyes scan the crowd as if searching for a weak spot or some sign of a rebel friend. Ezra stands close to Kanan his lightsaber in hand but not on. He looks up at Kanan then at me and smiles weakly. Vader must be trying to shove into his head as well. Hera stands in the middle Kanan next to her as she points her blasters at the surrounding troopers. Her eyes are wide in fear and worry but I feel determination come off of her in waves. Kanan stands in front of Ezra with Hera on his right and me on his left. He holds his blue lightsaber in front of him as the blade glows it's brilliant blue. He looks at me for a second but only a second. Zeb has his bow men's rifle out in his usual crouch position his eyes narrowed as I feel his pleasure bounce off of him in waves. Sabine holds her mini blasters up in front of her, her focus completely on the troopers. Beway stands next to me, probably for protection, his read lightsaber on and at his side. His face is grim and scare but other than that it's like in my nightmares. He must sense my sudden fear towards him and looks at me his face soft worry sowing in his slow changing eyes. Skip and Scout stand blasters in hand looking at me. For members of the blackout team they had a lot of respect for me. I smile and nod my head. Kinna stands next to her brother her lightsaber in hand. Her blade slides out to reveal a beautiful purple blade. She looks at Ash and tears appear in her eyes. She had so many feelings for him it hurts her to see him like this.

"Two on one Blast Steel take Ash I believe in you two my father and I will take Vader. Everyone else I know I've trained you well. you will be taking the troopers." I whisper to everyone. Beway looks at me as if he wants to help. "You take my place just please don't piss my father off." I whisper and I feel Kanan's anger towards me and him.

"Oh just shut up he helped me out now he's helping again. This is how we find out if he's on our side or not." I say through the force. He doesn't answer me so I ignore him. We all turn our lightsabers on and Hera shoots the light over us causing troopers to lose focus. We attack. Sabine throws a smoke bomb at the troopers in side the prison hall way as I throw one of mine at the ones in the ship bay. I hear the clash of lightsabers all around me as I fold the end of mine turning it into my blaster. Kinna hands me my mother's lightsaber and I take it killing all troopers with in reach. When I fold my lightsaber it clicks into place and I start to shoot them as I swing my lightsaber across troopers chests. I don't pay attention to the people behind me only in front which is a mistake. I know something is wrong. They expected us to try and get out and if Kinna didn't know Ash was an enemy she definitely told him we were being rescued. I send my saber through a troopers chests and continue to fight.
