Surprises 6

Ahsoka's P.O.V

I walk into the Medi Bay and close the door behind me. I walk over to Lyra and sit in the chair next to her. She must feel my presence because her head moves and she looks at me. I look at her for some time not speaking and she does the same thing.

"I have questions for you and I need you to answer me honestly." I tell her. She nods her head and I smile. "Lyra what happened to you I sense your happy... I also sense another force signature with in you." I tell her and Lyra looks away.

"Your right I'm... I'm pregnant." She whispers softly. "The Emperor knows it too. He wants me and my child." She tells me as she starts to cry.

"It is fine. You will be fine and so will your child." I tell her softly. "Does your father know yet?" I ask her softly.

"No and you can't tell him he'll kill Steel if he finds out. I will tell everyone eventually but I can't right now." She says softly and I nod my head.

"Also what is wrong with your father?" I ask her and she jumps into the story about what happened to them while they were being held captive by the Empire. I stay quiet the whole time and a few minutes after thinking. "Your father should be fine after a while Lyra." She nods her head and I smile.

Lyra's P.O.V

I ask Ahsoka to bring Hera and Sabine into the Medi Bay. I hear Kanan ask to come in and Ahsoka tell him no. Hera walks in Sabine right behind her and they sit down next to me. We stay quiet for some time but I finally speak. "Hera, Sabine I have something to tell you and you can't tell my father. Can I trust you?" I ask them and they both smile Hera gives her warm smile.

"Yes Lyra of course you can trust me. What's is it you need to tell me?" Hera asks me and I breath in before I speak. Sabine looks at me.

"I need both of you to stay calm okay." I say softly and she nods her head and Sabine tilts her head to the side but nods her head. "I'm pregnant." I say and Hera's mouth falls open and tears leap into her eyes. She looks like she's going to pass out. Sabine sequels and hugs me. "I don't know if its a boy or a girl yet and I need help keeping this from Kanan and the rest and I can only trust you." I say softly. They both nod their heads. Sabine sequels again. I smile.

"But wait... When did this happen and who's your child's father?" Sabine asks and I breath in deeply before I tell them.

"Vader threatened to send me back to... To Jabba if me and Steel didn't... So we agreed trying to buy time but it didn't work out so well." I say looking away from them.

"We'll help keep you and the baby safe we promise." Hera says and I smile. Sabine and Hera smile back.

"So Steel's the father so your child will be force sensitive?" Sabine asks and I nod my head. They start to talk to but eventually Hera says I need rest and they both leave so I can rest in peace. I don't sleep at first. At first I think about my child and about how my life turned out.

"I will not let your life turn into mine. I will take care of you and if not I know my father will protect you and I will not leave you without a fight I promise." I whisper softly into the room as I close my eyes and drift of to sleep.
